Up until now, The Friendly Greek would have rated 4-5 stars. The salads were always a treat I looked forward to, however tonight the dressing was severely lacking in any flavour and the chicken was hard and dry. The gyro, however was very flavourful and tender. Since we previously have had good experiences here, we're thinking (hoping) it was a one-off bad night only. We'll perhaps give it another try the next time a craving hits. Thanks.
Tried this place because it came up on my recommended list and it surely didn’t disappoint. The food was fantastic. We ordered the chicken souvlakis and the it was awesome! It was prepared fresh and the quantity was a lot. The price was also super reasonable.
Love this place!! So does the wifey! Amazing lamb..chicken.shrimp..pork..and tonight we tried the new dish salmon dinner.. delicious!~ The char on the meat from the grill is SUPERBLY TASTY and adds another flavour of depth to the meal. Love the potatoes, tzakziki, and salads served with the meal are A+++!!! For amazing tasting food this place offers great portions! Newly just named family greek this location and people working there never disappoint to make me smile, very friendly and make you feel like you're apart of the family!!! A+++ staff A+++Food.. I accidentally ordered from here instead of the place I usually order from. I actually never seen this place. I'm so impressed with food! The service was amazing and the food is excellent. Definitely will be returning customer.
Great portion sizes and good food. Ordered here 7+ times now and they are consistent on having good quality! Only thing I did not like was the garlic bread.
Spent $100 on a few meals. All meals were cold and one dinner was missing. Manager told me take it up with Skip the dishes. Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it the restaurants responsibility to make sure all items are there and correct ? Never order from here again.
The food can be very good but this is easily one of the most inconsistent restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. Whenever you go somethings always off whether the Greek salad dressing (which when it’s bad it’s borderline unpalatable) The chicken and pork get so insanely burnt all you’re tasting is burnt chalk in your mouth. The name is mostly accurate there’s only a couple employees who aren’t good with their customer service. If you catch the restaurant on a good day you will not regret it.
Went to the Friendly Greek for the first time today. I ordered a large chicken souvlaki dinner with potatoes and veggies. I also ordered the chicken souvlaki on a pita with rice. The food was incredible! Fresh and HUGE portions. The service was wonderful- "Friendly" and polite. When trying to finish our meals we were already planning on when to return. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and we'll see you this weekend!

Hi been going for years ...but have noticed in the past few months they have been using not freash vegetables in the salads old not freash. damaged or old produced from supplier....not good not appatizing.sorry but true.
