This is your typical hole in the wall, mom and pop shop. It is far from fancy. It's dated and rundown but the fish, haddock and halibut were pretty good. I can see what the rave is all about. You can dine in or take out.The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they only take cash! Not very convenient at all since most people don't carry cash nowadays. I am annoyed that they make their customers pay $1.50 to use an ATM machine and they don't tell you that until after you have placed your order. A sign would be nice giving customers advance notice. Other than that small annoyance, they were friendly and appear to be very hard working people. I noticed a much older lady in the kitchen who looks like she needs to retire.
HUGE burger and good ammount of fries for 15$ and they have a beautiful murals inside of east coast canada
great owners super nice and I've mentioned to other people to come by for food due to amazing food and fair prices. Cant find that anywhere these days
The best fish and chips restaurant in Oshawa. The only downside is they are cash only but it is worth the inconvenience of bringing cash. So mouth watering good. Fish is fresh and the fries are hot. The service was also stellar. Definitely going here again.
OMG! This is THE BEST fish & chip take-out restaurant !! ALWAYS EXCELLENT! HUGE portions & EXCELLENT food!!! Absolutely get your bang for your buck! You will NOT be disappointed!!
Very fresh food, really nice chips, generous portion for the fish. Make sure you bring cash, it's the only thing they accept. They do have a ATM on site if you need it
Just picked up an order. Hungry man special. Fish is delicious not greasey. Owner was extremely friendly and thankful for support . Will not be my last visit.
First time here, tried the halibut and chips, enjoyed it very much. Fish battered and cooked well, fries were ordinary but did the job I suppose.

I have always enjoyed Churchills halibut nchips. Jan 3rd today was the first day I have eaten a solid meal since Christmas day. I have been in bed sick. Let me tell you, I am so happy we chose Churchills for dinner today.Amazing as always! The best in town!!
