Fish is alwsys crispy and light and good size portions, usually we do moz sticks but tried the garlic bread.definitely was not good, was soft and the bread was soggy. So will never suggest ordered bread to deliver.
Worst sweet potato fries I've ever had. I just ordered from ubereats, and the rest of the order was warm, but the sweet potato fries were stone cold and the limp, moist consistency of cold spaghetti. The fish batter was also super soggy, but that might have been caused by proximity to the horrible fries. Rice pudding was pretty good though.
Long time loyal customer of the old owners; my mom and I thought today we would try out what the new owner has.Unfortunately, the fish no longer has the same batter (which we loved), portion sizes are almost half, and all the food was incredibly greasy.Additionally the new owners can’t seem to keep their opinions on the old owners to themselves claiming that they were incredible cheap quote "the old owners bought cheap fish, so cheap they had to cut it themselves", calling the old owners lazy for working quote “3 hours a day only” (which is a lie, the only time that was true was during COVID) and freezing their fries (which apparently makes them bad?).I won’t be back and would advice people to think twice before going.
Best fish and chip I will ever have in my life. I’ve tried many different places, in various cities and provinces and this company and location will always hold mine and my family’s heart. We have been coming here for years!! They also have another location (same owners) on king st and town line and it is the exact same and fabulous!
Wife picked up the 4 pieces of halibut and chips today. The price is fantastic compared to what we're used to at Halibut House. Unlike other reviewers, the halibut was really good size, crispy and flaky. The chips were nice and fresh as well. The coleslaw was okay, had a bit too much mayo in it for my personal liking but not too bad overall. My daughters loved it and we'll certainly be regulars if the quality stays the same.

Just had halibut and garden salad and it was delish! Breading to fish ratio was great; fried perfectly and was not super greasy. Great salad portion. Very friendly service as well. Will definitely be back!
Just finished an order of halibut & chips. It didn't taste like halibut. This is the second time since the new owner took over we've order and still not impressed. Previous owners were awesome! Quality now is terrible! The fries/chips were so greasy and soggy. The fish was so thin and again greasy. Last time we buy from here. Time to find a better fish & chip store!

New owners are very nice we wish the pieces of fish were a bit bigger. Great flavor still.⁴
