i most definitely wont be coming here again. really not sure how this place has a 4.4 star rating? the employees were so painfully slow at making the burritos/bowls, it took 15 mins for staff to make two burrito bowls and a burrito.the sweet potato was horribly burnt, and so was my burrito. the salsa had a strange consistency and the preparation station was very messy. one large issue that i had was the fact that my burrito was $16.16 for a veggie regular size burrito. nothing fancy, no extra fees, just a burrito with veggies for $16. my friends burrito bowls were over $20 each.there was a large chunk of avocado in the burrito bowl, and a palm size piece of steak in the other. the chicken looked and tasted like canned tuna.i love to support small but sadly i cannot recommend both the atmosphere and food at bang bang.
Used to love going here as the portions were great and the quality was always good. I hadn’t been in a while and was I ever disappointed. They have raised the prices and essentially cut the portions in half. I will no longer be recommending this restaurant to friends.
I'm giving a 3 star ONLY because for the most part they're pretty awesome. Tonight, however, if you're putting food in the same order, don't use one perfect taco bowl and one burnt. The one isn't even edible. Little disappointed. Took pictures but unable to post.
I'm sitting here wondering how the heck did this place get 4.4 stars? I went to this restaurant craving burritos and my favorite spot Bar Burrito was closed. The staff was very nice here but I was not ready for the complete Disappointment that this burrito would be! This restaurant is SERIOUSLY OVER PRICED!!! And their burritos are the worst I have ever had. And I mean that with all honesty. After paying close to $40 for 2 regular sized meat burritos (alone) one chicken and one pulled pork, I was so utterly let down. The rice was HARD and there was ZERO flavor save for the hot sauce!! I mean like absolutely no seasoning!! Not even cilantro! The chicken tasted like canned Tuna! The pulled pork was dry with no taste either. Goodness! how can these people call this a burrito? What's worse, I got the pineapple salsa it was literally huge chunks of pineapple, and that was it!! Even the toppings didn't save these tasteless "wraps" We couldn't even finish these burritos. It seriously hurt me to spend so much and be so completely let down. What a rip off. Save your money and time this place needs to rework their menu!! HORRIBLE FOOD!! ?
I ordered their small steak burrito bowl and it cost me $15+. It taste good so far and i liked it but a little pricey in my opinion. Great customer service and the place was clean during my visit.
This place used to be the go to place.Since the ownership change its gone downhill rather quickly. I’ve had some of the best burrito bowls here in my life previously when i was a student in Durham. it was always good. Its sad I will never have the same food again :(
Best burritos on the planet, in my opinion. You've got to try the apple slaw and the pineapple salsa in your meal - outstanding! I love the "pay once - toppings free" approach as opposed to paying for every extra like most places (including guac!). Beware - these are HUGE! (I love enjoying my burrito for two meals!)
How do people consume this? This is the most poorly put together, horrid-tasting burrito I’ve ever had. The presentation of the food was not appealing, it looked like a toddler was experimenting with the food. the taste was bland and my food was swimming in water. I had to dump the food immediately. Not to mention it was expensive.
Pulled pork is not pulled pork. It’s very fine and has really no flavour. I also find it very gammy and just tastes like someone chewed it and put it back and reheated it.I will say though, that I find there churros to be one of the best around. It’s flaky and has that spring/sponginess that a churro should have(good price as well). I also love the strawberry sauce option which is VERY rare to find as a sauce.Don’t order VIA uber eats. Biggest mistake. Everytime I ordered something always went wrong. Also, if you’re going to add on a sauce, ALWAYS call in and make sure they add the extra sauce you paid for. They will not add it if you don’t ask them. They claim “they didn’t see it” but how many times could you not see it?There quesadillas are the only worth-while dinner choice. They really pack it in & I can appreciate the unlimited toppings which is why I opted for a 3-star review. It’s also something I can save and eat for later while the burritos are so packed and thick it gets soggy quick (just a personal observation for my other pregnant, mexican food loving women ?)
Feb 17th 2022 . Probably the worst burrito I have ever eaten. It had no flavor at all. The pico de gallo was no better. I spent half my life in Texas so I know what a good one tastes like..this wasnt it.
