Comfortable atmosphere with window seats and patio available. Staff very friendly. Nicole our server was fast, courteous and service with a smile. Mussel appetizer with tomatoe came hot. Dinner was spaghetti fruitsa mare served with shrimps, mussels and clams in white wine tomatoe sauce, very good. Free parking, good prices, recommended.

A great restaurant downtown Oshawa. Nice atmosphere and tasty food. This time we tried the veal which was delicious but tiny portions. I would suggest sticking with their delicious pizzas or pasta dishes and it's definitely worth giving it a try.
Phenomenal dining experience. Our server was top notch. Great sangria! I had the seafood pasta and everything was so fresh and full of flavor. We also started with the calamari and it was the best I've had in years. Cooked perfectly!So happy to see the restaurant full and thriving.20/10 recommend Avanti
The best pasta and pizza is served here! This place has quickly become a favourite. Make a reservation on weekends or expect disappointments as they are only opened from 4pm - 10pm. Every-time we dine here, the place is packed which is no surprise as the stone oven pizzas and pasta dishes are excellent and so are the deserts! My personal favourites are the carrot cake and tiramisu. I don't have pictures of our main dishes as we devoured them before we could snap a shot. The only negative is the alcoholic beverages which could be improved.
One of my favourite restaurants to hit up in Oshawa.Food is amazing!They start you off with fresh bread (oil and balsamic are on the table already).I had the Penne Con Pollo. Pasta was perfect. Chicken, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms and the cream sauce.. So good.My wife had the Americana wood fired pizza.The best part is dessert of course!Tiramisu and profiteroles are to die for ?Finished off with a cappuccino.We always go back.
After living in Oshawa for years, we finally made our way here and were not disappointed. Had a reservation for 5pm on a Saturday and we were in and out in a hour including apps and dessert. I had spaghetti and meatballs, which doesn't seem to exciting but they were the best meatballs I've had in a while. They were dense, but not heavy, if that makes sense. The entrees arrived at the table literally steaming hot. I would definitely highly recommend for some excellent Italian food.
They are not open for lunch anymore!!!!!!! Not quite sure ..thought maybe only Monday or Sunday but no lunch at all. Too bad for business downtown!
Very good service. Waitresses were attentive and friendly but it was a bit rushed. There were 6 of us in our party and we were in and out in just under and hour and a half. I ordered a glass of merlot and was advised that they had none and the waitress told me that their house wine was similar to a merlot. It was not. In fact, it was not very good wine at all. I then ordered the escargot which was quite tasty with mushrooms but I prefer butter and garlic escargot. Then I ordered the frutti de mare and there was plenty of it but not a lot of flavor. Mussels had not been cleaned properly and the shrimp and clams were overcooked. I felt like the dish had been prepared in advance and then warmed up. The big plus was the tiramisu dessert. It was to die for. I believe it was the best I had ever tasted.
