My family loved this restaurant. True, service was slow, but it was crowded. Still, we thought the food was so tasty that it was worth the wait. I shared a few appetizers with my son -- we had calamari, spanikopita, crab cakes and Greek salad. We really liked everything and intended to return a few days later, but then found they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. The others in our group had the veal Parmesan with spaghetti -- they liked what they eat too.

Best food and service you will find anywhere. I order the House special. It is a spaghetti masterpiece. Meatballs, green peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, with yummy meat sauce. My husband orders the Alfredo. Has been our favourite family restaurant for years. We live in Barrie and still make the drive. Their home made Caesar salad is the best.

We went to Theo’s for the first time last night. It was really good. We highly recommend the Crab Dip! We also enjoyed the Linguini Rose (ask to add shrimp) and Spaghetti with Meatballs. Good portions of everything at reasonable prices. Our server was good fun, too.

Multiple times we’ve wanted take out on a Sunday, after a busy weekend, and our favourite restaurant in town is closed. Unfortunately, the business is losing out, as I can imagine this is the case for many couples or families. Wouldn’t it make more sense to be closed on a Tuesday or Wednesday? Weekends are always prime time for restaurants. I’d love to see this schedule change in the future.

Gorgeous and well maintained venue, hearty portions, great prices, fantastic staff. The wait was going to be over an hour because of a few large reservations and the hostess was kind enough to take our phone number and give us a call when a table freed up and then held it for us until we got back. Overall the bill only came to a bit over $40 for 2 massive dinner entrees and that was with me ordering a Somersby! Definitely coming back next time I'm in Orillia, this place is a gem!The photos are of the massive, football-sized dish of lasagna and a bacon cheeseburger the size of my face with a bowl of fries. The vegetables were flawless and fresh and I could feel the heat radiating off the plates.

My family and I went to Theo’s thinking it was going to be a great little restaurant. Man were we wrong….this place was SO disappointing. Our waitress was horrendous, she was rude, threw the cutlery on the table and she spilled our drinks all over the place. She didn’t clean our table someone else had to come and pick up her slack. The restaurant was cleaning and getting ready to close while customers were still eating. The food was awful, I ordered chicken parmigiana with salad, no where on the menu did it say it would come with pasta. The meat sauce (from the pasta) was incredibly sweet you could taste the sugar rocks melt in your mouth. I couldn’t spit the pasta out because our waitress never gave me any napkins. If there was a way to put negative stars I would. NEVER going back here.

Food was very good and the portions are quite large. The restaurant was clean and well organized. Staff friendly and could answer any question regarding the menu.

My family and I, decided to go for a night out, and heard good thing's about Theo's. A reservation was made for a Saturday evening. We arrived in time and were seated promptly. That is where the positives ended. The restaurant was very busy, and our server was NOT happy to have to deal with such a large table. She did not introduce herself, was brisk and abrupt and the service was slow and sloppy. We waited an hour for our meals to come out. We were also not informed that the restaurant closed at "9pm sharp". As a result they did not want to offer us coffee or dessert, dishes were left on the table, other staff had to finish serving us, and they started cleaning and vacuuming the restaurant while dinners were still eating. The appetizers were good, the main meals need work, and the menu sucks. It does not explain anything properly. I asked for the baked tortellini with cheese, and my waitress told me it was her favorite meal on the menu, and I would love the chicken it comes with??? (No where does it say this). Overall this is a very small town restaurant, and if you are driving by and looking for more...keep driving. I had zero expectations, and this restaurant met them.

Getting 5 stars out of me is not easyThis was my first visit here after numerous recommendations. It won't be my last. Our server was polite and attentive. When l asked for water and lemon with lots of ice she actually brought me an extra glass filled with ice. The smallest detail leaves the biggest impression. The portions were large and very tasty. Great place. Very nice and comfortable surroundings. We had a wheelchair and the staff assisted us both coming in and when we were leaving. Like I said small details.

Hadn’t been to Theo’s since before the pandemic so was really looking forward to a birthday celebration there. However dinner didn’t live up to our expectations. I really wanted the lamb chops which were on the menu but not in the kitchen. My husband had the shrimp fettuccine. It had so much sauce on the noodles it was like soup. Really disappointed. He should have sent it back but didn’t want to make a fuss as we were with another couple. Unfortunately we won’t be going back any time soon. Birthday dinner was a bust.
