We arrived around 5pm on a Wednesday. Covid measures were in place. On check in we were told our room type was not ready so she upgraded us to a huge suite at the same price. What a nice surprise! Staff are super friendly all through the resort. The place was not busy but I'm sure that will change soon. Casino was a good size and I had a bit of luck on the slots. Restaurant had a bit of a line during prime hours but we ate later so it didn't bother us. Food was fine. The casino bar was open and you could take drinks onto the casino floor. It appeared they were preparing to expand capacity because they were bringing more chairs out the last night we were there. I didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. I was disappointed that the hot tub was out of commission. Hopefully it will be operating next visit. Overall had a great time and can't wait to return.
After almost two years of going nowhere, My husband and I chose to spend two nights(Aug 31-Sept 1) at Rama, We had concerns and once we checked in we we're very comfortable with how wonderful their covid policies and protections were in place. Can't express how nice it was to feel somewhat normal for the first time in two years. Staff in the hotel, restaurants and on the casino floor where is friendly and accommodating as anyone could want. Did we come home winners? No.. but we sure enjoyed our time and will be back.Thanks, Donald and Marie G
Spent a good amount of time here while staying at Orillia for a birthday getaway. While we didn’t walk away winners, the experience in itself was very fun! Lots of machines to choose from and plenty of refreshments going around. Would definitely come here again!
The table games are a lot higher now than before covid19. It has gone from minimum $5.00 to $15.00, way too much. Just want to have some fun not spend a fortune.
Great protocols during Covid. Not too busy at all during the day. Only complaint is the $4.95 fee at the ATM machine.....that was a bit steep.

Casino is great but food in sports restaurant is too pricy Even a pound of wings and fries almost $30 with a diet coke. $35 after tip Wonder why coffee and drinks are free on the casino floor but if I pay $30+ for wings in the restaurant then I get charged? Makes no sence Rediculous
Place is great!! Popped in the other week to spend a few bucks and left up! Solid spot! Great food to!
Obviously, after Covid I understand things aren't going to be 100%. I know that the resort only opened up again a few weeks ago, so some grace will be given in my review.Positive - Clean environment/room, decent quality restaurants and Casino environment was fun.Negative - Room was not ready at specified time. Shower was ice cold for the first few hours. No complimentary breakfast, only pricey restaurant available.All in all it didn't feel like a 200$ a night stay for what was provided.
I’m a concert lover!Whenever I go to Rama, it’s worth the trip.So much, all in one place. Excellent staff.Have never stayed over. Planning on changing that.
