My daughter and I had the high tea this past weekend. It was absolutely delicious! We also ordered the pancakes, which were equally delicious. The staff there were unbelievable; every single person who worked there was a delight to deal with. It’s a fabulous place to go to!
Food is freshly prepared and the staff are friendly. It's nice to go somewhere that my husband doesn't have to worry about gluten contamination as he has Celiac disease. The pancakes were amazing!
We had a baby shower at Bakes by the Lake this weekend and it was phenomenal. None of us are gluten free or dairy free eaters, but the food, space and staff were so incredible we chose to have the shower here. The time and care that was put into the food and ensuring we had a great time was so appreciated. The prices were very reasonable, and there was a small fee for renting out the outdoor patio. We looked into a number of other restaurants for our event but none were as accommodating or as kind to deal with as Bakes by the Lake. If you're considering having a small event, definitely check this place out!
Phenomenal experience every time. Lovely service, huge & DELICIOUS meals, beautiful atmosphere. Even my 93-year-old grandma was impressed! I already cannot wait to go back.
Amazing spot for brunch and my fav in Orillia! The food was amazingggg we ordered the chickpeas omelette and blueberry waffles to share, not only the taste was superb but also the presentation of each plate was soo appealing. Not to mention how friendly and nice were the staff and owners! Everything was to perfection..we are definitely coming back :)

Went for brunch and everything was outstanding - the food was delicious, fresh, and wonderfully presented, the atmosphere was warm and chic, and the service was friendly and genuine.
I had the chance to try their tres lecche cake and I was floored at how incredible it was. It was honestly the best cake Ive ever had in my life by far. Then to learn that its also gluten free?! Incredible. They truly are talented. Cant wait to try more of their items.
Attended the Bakes by the Lake Afternoon Christmas Tea and was blown away with how incredibly delicious everything was. There was a small but decent selection of teas but lots of goodies!
This family run business is a cozy and welcoming place with great food to fit everyone's different tastes.
