What a great little place! The quality of of the sushi is some of the best I've had, AYCE or not. They don't skimp on the size of the rolls or the sushi themselves, like many other places. Plus, the staff was friendly and fast. Definitely coming back.
Such a warm and cozy place for eating with family, friends and date nights! Service was quick, all the food was delicious, and the staff was super friendly. The restaurant itself was very clean, even for the bathrooms! It was my first time there and I’m definitely coming back❤️
I will NOT be back here again. I read reviews and expected it to be good and it was not! First the food is okay, some sushi was good but I’ve had a lot better. Second all we left behind were two small bowls of rice both my friend and I did not like it at all, it did not taste good, and they tried to charge us for the bowls of rice! They told us we should’ve ordered just one bowl and tried it?? Like excuse me there are two of us here and we didn’t expect fried rice to taste bad who messes up fried rice… I had to argue with them for 5 minutes not to charge us for the two littleBowls of rice we left behind. We will not be back ever ever again.
I just expected way too much from this place based on the reviews.I ordered Patty Tray D and Yame Lobster Roll.Lobster Roll : Not great at all. The Decoration and look was on point but I wouldn’t get this again.Party Tray : Salmon and tuna Sashimi was really nice and fresh. There were different rolls included in the tray. Some were good some were okay.Maybe I will give this place another shot again in the future. For now it was a pretty average experience.
Best Sushi in Oakville! Excellent price and super fresh! I have tried at least 6 other sushi places in Oakville, even really expensive places and nothing comes close to Yami. They are fast, and super clean. Polite and always friendly. Takeout is never longer than 20 minutes from the moment you call even on a busy night. They have the business down to a science. Wonderful place for a huge array of food, even Thai food!

Honestly, you can't get better than this in Oakville. Amazing prices, superb quality and the staff are fantastic. They are extremely professional and are always providing the best service and food. I highly suggest this for families and individuals who want both an all you can eat and a la carte sushi experience that's worth the money.
