Great environment, friendly staff, amazing coffee. Loved the iced matcha and the raspberry coconut scone. Hope to see more locations.
Yummy coffee! Stools for high tables are SO uncomfortable though! Way too short and i couldn’t sit properly at all. They need higher chairs.
Usually visit the Kerr street location, but this location is very nice. Very clean, modern and is nice a quiet. Has a great vibe and a nice barista. Only problem is that the latte and milks for our drinks were very warm.

The staff here were incredibly helpful and friendly. My friend and I both got pour over coffee and chatted with the barista extensively. She was able to explain the process to us and the type of coffee we were getting. Normally I don't drink black coffee but this time around I significantly reduced my sugar and milk so I could taste the recommended flavours. The aeropress made the coffee really smooth and I didn't get any acidity burning on my tongue. Definitely coming back!
The El Mirador is an excellent coffee, it has a nice milk chocolate like colour when ground, and while on the milder side has a lovely smooth buttery taste with very little to no bitterness, for sure one of my favourites and I have tried many!
Summery: a roaster with great customer crevice, but unfortunate unimpressive roasts.Having been ordering my coffee from rouge wave in Alberta, I wanted to find a roaster close to home. I brew both espresso and drip, but still had a kilo of dark espresso roast, so I opted to get lighter roast for drip. I got two bags; the antioquia and huila; both bring their lightest roast. Delivery was free and incredibly quick. They even came in the middle of the worst snowstorm this year.When I got it I was incredibly exited. The packaging is great and they give you a bag of recently roasted beans. Reading that the beans were light I gave the beans 10 days to rest so I could have optimal flavour. When the day to pen the bag finally came, I was a bit disappointed. The beans were dark roasted - I’ll post a picture in comparison to my espresso beans - and no where near what would be considered light. This meant that the flavour and smells were unimpressive. I’m sure the beans would have been great but most of its body had been roasted away. I opened the second bag, and the above was true for this bag as well.Although the beans will make good coffee, you won’t find much complexity with these beans. The upside to that is that they will be easier to work with.Would I recommend the company. Yes and no. As a company they have incredible customer crevice and support. Although dark roast, if you passively like coffee the beans are good for you. But, if you are looking for infrequency in your beans, and you drink coffee as a hobby, then these might no be the beans for you.Moving into the future, I do t think vereda will be my go to place, but I’ll buy a bag here and there for visits and lazy mornings.
I came here the other day with my two daughters. Terrible!! My milk in my latte was burnt and not only smelt burnt but tasted disgusting! This is NOT OKAY. Workers should be trained properly instead of this lousy work. I am utterly disappointed and embarrassed with your work! I wish I could at least enjoy my drink but I ended up leaving since I was so disgusted. Waste of my money!
It was my first visit today and Delaney absolutely killed it! Amazing service, friendly, knowledgeable by giving me a ton of options and explaining them as it was my first time there. Espresso and sandwich were great! The menu attracts you but it’s the people that keep you coming back and Delaney definitely did that. I pass this place every day on my way to work and it will definitely be my new spot when I want to treat myself.
Very slow service/Inattentive.Last week, I waited over 15 min to place a coffee order at the kerr st location(For context, there was only 1 person ahead of me and had already ordered...)- I eventually had to leave and walked over to kerr st cafe.Decided to give it another try and went to the upper middle location- another long waitBut what's worse is that my mocaccino was lukewarm at best and was watered down and didn't have any hint of mocha in it. Oh well, I tried!Empanadas were good - tried the beef/chicken. The banana Cake was tasty.
