One of the worst iced matcha latte’s I’ve ever had. I asked the girl for light ice. When she gave it to me, it literally looked like just milk. When I told her that that’s barely any matcha. She rolled her eyes and said “I put less matcha to sub for the ice”. When I politely asked her to re-make it, she rolled her eyes AGAIN then gave me a iced matcha latte HOT. I literally had to ask for a cup of ice. Such terrible customer service and it tasted horrendous to say the least. Never coming back here again!
Nothing like Tommy Cafe in Montreal.Tommy was a highlight of our recent trip to Montreal. Cozy with great coffee and food. This is the opposite. Coffee was terrible. No atmosphere. A poor representation of the Tommy line.
Delicious heated banana bread! Spacious tables. Street parking (I used the Honk parking lot around the corner). Fair prices.
One of the places I’ve wanted to come amd try their coffees for so long!Your first step into this place and it’s a whole new kinda vibe! Not sure what it is but their shared space with chocolato was so well done! The ceiling with those drips of chocolate coming down on one side and the greenery arrangement with the signature Tommy sign on the other! The lucky charms latte had a nice strong espresso flavour that was nice and smooth. The lucky charms in the latte had its pros and cons. The marshmallows portion was a nice little addition of sweetness. The cereal portion didn’t add anything to the coffee for me but because it was made from oats, it did have an oat milk like feel to it which was kinda nice too. With the lucky charms, it also added a nice level of aesthetics the drink tooHeard the iced latte latte, which my friend got was amazing! So that will be my next item to try! Will definitely come back for more of their espresso drinks as I really liked their roast!Great job on the tasty espresso drinks! Will definitely be back for more!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!
If you are expecting Tommy Montreal, you will be underwhelmed I’m afraid.Coffee isn’t anything like the same quality.Salmon Bagels and avotoasts were very comparable but not the same selections of pastries, sweets etc. They do have another franchise incorporated into this location that sells chocolate pizzas and other chocolate products. I cannot comment on this as we didn’t purchase anything from them.A shame as I was really looking forward to reminiscing being in Old Montreal.
Cute! Not as I guess aesthetic as the Montreal location but staff was super sweet and drinks were similar!
Great flat white. I used to frequent the montreal location and glad to see them in the area.
Amazing ice cream! I loved the crunchy hazelnut chocolate dip with Oreo powder!! So yummy def going back again
The place is a mess. They seem to be understaffed and unorganized.I a should put Tommy on a higher standard because I've been to their locations in Montreal. The one is Oakville is really bad not only in terms of tidiness and aesthetics, but in quality as well. My cappuccino was watery and tasteless.Never going back there. Especially when there are much better options in the neighborhood.
The shop has huge variety! Very trendy. However I went twice so far at different times of the day and was kinda disappointed. First time got a matcha latte, the powder was not well mixed you can feel it in your tongue.Second time got an iced mochaccino which was in the menu, however as I could tell the cashier had to ask different other members if they know how to make it, the result was not that great. I would really appreciate it if they can teach all the staff how to make all menu items ❤
