We are regular customers at this location, food is great & the service is hit & miss, however, today was really bad … we go in & pick a table, the server was nice & helpful started to clean the table only to see the “manager” or whoever that rude lady was, barging in & putting another customer’s order (who was sitting in the patio) claiming that the restaurant policy is “when it’s raining, the customers who actually made the order get to take “that” table” a policy made on the spot, had she said that that customer requested that table first, it would have been fine BUT it wasn’t the case & clearly she made up that statement & the poor server was shocked, we left the place after getting this wonderful treatment, I guess the treatment is based on how the customer look like! We will not set foot there again until the management is changed & trained how to talk to their customers.

I'm being generous with this review. Airing on the side of boots they weren't having the greatest day in the kitchen possibly? Anyway last time we were there September 2021 the food was good good enough that we went back yesterday May 27th we were well before the regular dinner rush greeted by a pleasant young lady or three or four at the door and were able to sit pretty much wherever we wanted the place was neat and tidy the girls looks like they wanted to be at work and we're happy to take our orders but somehow it got lost in translation between there and the kitchen and coming back to our table.I think dry was the word of the day everywhere from the onion rings to the french fries to the overcooked yes I said overcooked wag you Kobe beef burger didn't even ask how you wanted it done it automatically came out medium well to well can head medium well too well cooked all the flavour right out of what could have been a good burger... the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon Burger was dull and boring and head no barbecue sauce on it at all our chicken Caesar salad was black if that came out okay was planned planned the dressing was good but garlicky chicken was dry. I ordered a extra crispy chicken with bacon and etc etc Burger and Fries as a side order burger was so uninspiring it looked great but black again couldn't taste the chicken could only teach the bacon if you actually took a piece and eat it by itself gorgeous place of tomato how's that for a great comment

When you want a great burger the Works is the best, you pick the meat, bun, sides...and it is hard to go wrong.

Had a terrible Mothers Day experience here. My mother and I arrived during lunch rush and had to wait 20 min (which is fine - this is expected for a holiday). Once were seated, we weren’t attended to for over 10 min. Our server finally took our orders and brought us our drinks (water and pop) - however, she didn't bring our drinks in the big anchor hocking measuring glasses, she just brought them in smaller glass cups with no ice. We didn't say anything because we could see the servers were extremely stressed with the high volume of customers. We ended up waiting 1 HOUR for TWO burgers. The waitress kept coming back by our table to let us know that “it wouldn’t be much longer”. It would have been better if she had been honest about the lengthy wait time from the start. They seated us so eagerly knowing we would have had to wait for an hour for our food. They were backed up long before we arrived. That’s pretty upsetting.Unfortunately, the burgers didn't taste as amazing as they usually do. My mother and I LOVE The Works (especially this location) and we come to eat here whenever we can. The quality of food and service is always amazing. We are usually in and out within 30-40 min.Our waitress told us that the reason for the back up was that they have new trainees in the kitchen. How is that a valid excuse? It’s BURGERS for crying out loud. My dad can fry up 20 burgers on the BBQ in less than 15 minutes. How does it take over an hour to prepare two simple burgers? And why would you choose Mothers Day to train new employees? We were offered a free burger on our next visit but honestly we don’t know when we will come back. This experience left us with a bad taste in our mouth. We would have appreciated a discount/compensation for our current visit, not for a future one. We were offered some fries as we waited for our food but it would have been nice to be offered a real appetizer free of charge. To make matters worse, the “free” fries our waitress brought us weren’t even salted!

You would think a restaurant that specialized in burgers would offer outstanding burgers that would make their customers want to come back, especially when the burgers (without fries) are about $20 each. But sadly, what my wife and I were offered was memorable for the wrong reasons. We were underwhelmed by the size of the burgers, the dryness of the meat, the wilted lettuce, and the undercooked fresh cut fries. The buns were nothing special and the coffee wasn't great. All in all, a very disappointing outing.

My fiance and I haven't had the chance to spend as much time as we'd like together so I was really looking forward to spending this Saturday evening with her, going out for dinner and watching the new Batman movie..We got to the restaurant (2km away from the theatre) a good 80 minutes before the movie. The place was about half full when we got there at 4pm. We were standing at the door for about six minutes before we were seated. Once we were seated, it took another fifteen minutes for someone to come over and take our order. 10 minutes later we are given the shakes that we had wanted to have with our food. And then we just waited...and waited. 15 minutes...30 minutes...45 minutes...It got to the point where I realized there was no way we could make our movie on time. I had to call the movie theatre and postpone our reservations for the following show, which would be three hours later. The restaurant's experience was really bad and it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. In hindsight, I would've chosen a different restaurant to eat at, but live and learn, right?

We really like The Works. Our experiences with customer service are better than other reviews. Went there again this week and our family really enjoyed their burgers. The gluten free bun is good too.

Probably the best burgers I’ve ever had. Ordered the “Bacon You Fancy Huh?” The burger really melts in your mouth! LOVE the UNLIMITED FRIES! On top of that, it’s one of the very few restaurants to serve my favourite beer… Moosehead! The staff are very friendly and dutiful. Will definitely be going back!!

Burger was a bit dryThis is the 3rd location I have been to and found the others better

If you're looking for a great burger, head to The Works. It's a little more than your typical burger restaurant but you get what you pay for. At The Wirks, you'll get a big, juicy burger worth a lot of different toppings... my son loved the make your own milkshake and really enjoyed the banana chocolate milkshake recommended by our server. Fries were also great.
