Tha ambience and staff are fine, but the food at lunch was mediocre, the way it seems to be in all these Catch places. The Old Bay Shrimp was taste-fee strips of nameless protein an a chewy batter, and the sweet potato fries were soggy. I’ve had thecwings before and they weren’t bad but I’m not sure I’ll return.
Food was a 5 star, service was a 3 star; landing it in the 4 star range. Staff wasn't as attentive as I would hope, our app was completely forgotten about (we did not bring this up at the time as our mains just showed up, so at that point we no longer wanted/needed the app).We would definitely go back, and that speaks to how good the food was.
My boyfriend and I always enjoy coming here :) Tonight we had our favorite appetizer...the calamari but it was over cooked so a little bummed and we did try the garlic bread knots for the first time and they were delicious. I had the sweet chili chicken wrap with a ceasar salad and he had the aboo! He loved it! We will come back we always do. Wonderful staff and service. Thanks ladies it was a great evening ?
This was our first time and we had a terrific meal. Sonja was a great server. She was friendly, efficient and very good at her job. That helped to create a great experience. We will be back.
I loved the place and the food.. however was extremely disappointed with the waitress as she was really rushing us with our orders and was also constantly interrupting with our conversation.. it almost seemed like she was in a rush to get us out of there.. I don't know why cause it wasn't even that the restaurant was packed... There were lots of tables that were vacant. If not for this experience, I would surely rate this place with 5 stars.. but for the moment, 3 stars is all I can give.
I visited Firehall for dinner this evening and had the privilege of being served by Carlo. Despite being our first time there, Carlo made it seem like we'd been coming there for years. He is extremely professional, friendly and made the experience very delightful. I also got the opportunity to speak with Taylor (the manager) and she also was extremely professional, helpful and was very welcoming. I had an amazing experience and the food was top notch. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Went here to watch the first leaf playoff game but apparently line dancing and country music took priority. Not a sports bar. All good. Basic pub food. Don't get the calamari unless you like sigh and chewy. Wings are good and have good flavour options! Left soon after the first period to catch the rest of the game with sound.
