We had lunch on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful views of Lake Ontario. The service was excellent. Everything we ordered was amazing except for the club sandwich. It was more like a chicken burger, and it was not a potato bun as mentioned on the menu. It was a normal burger bun. The club sandwich, I expected, should have been a toasted layered sandwich, at least that’s what I know a club sandwich to be. Having said that, I will visit again, but will not order the sandwich.
Every detail in this restaurant was so beautiful. The menu has something for everyone and the food is so delicious. I had a chicken Cobb salad. Hubby had a hamburger and our 4 year old had the kids fish and chips. We all loved it. Only sad part …. We had no room for dessert, which was disappointing. We saw the coconut cream pie jars and they looked incredible. The staff was so friendly and kind. The decor was inviting. And you couldn’t find a better location.
Had lunch on the patio. Really good choices on the menu. Ordered the fish tacos, mussels, and calamari. Fish tacos were crispy with the sweet pineapple coleslaw. The mussels were delicious. My other party members had the oysters, ahi tuna poke, fish & chips, kids fish & chips & burger. The oysters were fresh and tasty - plus it came with three sauces, vinegar mignonette, seafood sauce & spicy hot sauce. The tuna poke was well made & well presented. Overall excellent patio & atmosphere near the marina & lakeside, and quality of food was really great.
Excellent view, food and service. Went there for the first time and loved it. We ordered the crab dip, which was really good and for mains we had the billionaire burger, fish and chips & Salmon salad bowl. Our server was friendly and gave good suggestions. Will definitely visit again.
Great waterfront restaurant overlooking the slips on Lake Ontario.Food was delicious. There is a limited kids menu, and limited vegan menu, but otherwise something for everyone. The restaurant has an attached ice cream bar called Duckies and in lieu of the included ice cream sandwich, kids can grab a kid's scoop at Duckie's which has a great selection.Highly recommended for food, drinks and views.
With stellar views across the Bronte Harbour/lake, @bronteboathouse serves up great haddock and chips. We tried Kashmiri Salmon served over a bed of rice which was just meh but loved the sushi and fish n chips.
We were there today, and we asked for separate cheques. The waitress was adding the tip percentage herself before even asking us if it was okay and then she was giving us the machine to pay in full!
Top notch food and great, friendly staff. Awesome location and atmosphere
I would really like to thank the staff for offering us a table because I made a mistake and came a week earlier for my reservation. They seemed to be fully booked but she still offered us a table which was really kind. Moving onto the food, we tried the dumplings, salmon, fish and chips, and the truffle mac n cheese. The dumplings were really good and the salmon was also incredible, it melts in your mouth. The fish and chips was just fish and chips, but I was a bit disappointed in the mac and cheese. It was very bland. Other than that we had a good time.
Was very eager to try this place as a few friends had visited this patio multiple times but the experience was a bit meh. I made a reservation for my husband’s birthday, and we were seated right away. Our waiter introduced herself and took our drink and appetizer order. We were getting bit by mosquitos so I requested with another staff member if they could move us by the fence, which she said she would try and she did eventually, which we greatly appreciated. The drinks were good and we ordered fish tacos for appetizers, and those were good but the battered fish turned out to be exactly the same as the fish & chips main that my husband ordered. It would’ve been nice to be warned that those would be similar when our waiter had come back to take our mains order. The mains took a long time to arrive. I got the Kashmiri seared Atlantic salmon - the actual salmon piece was amazing and flavourful but the rest of the dish was really simple - they serve it on a bed of plain white basmati rice with a white sauce and asparagus. We didn’t order any dessert but enjoyed the sunset view which was gorgeous. The waiter let us know that we didn’t have a limit to our seating and we could stay as long as we wanted. I had informed the restaurant in my reservation notes that we were celebrating a birthday, so it would’ve been nice to acknowledge that but that wasn’t done. Overall, it was satisfactory but not anything mind blowing. I would say try it out, but I may or may not come back a second time.
