Came with a friend today, we are Taza regulars and love it here. The food is always great and the staff is always super helpful and kind! But lately we've been noticing its been getting really smokey and seems like they've stopped using air-conditioning and it's making it really hard to sit in the restaurant and enjoy an otherwise great place...
Reaaaaaaaaaally good food (I got the chicken on the rocks!! Tons of garlic) and super sweet servers who brought the food right out to my friend and I.Minus 2 stars though because the place is unbelievably smokey and it doesn't seem to be getting fixed (it didn't used to be this bad - it was nice and air conditioned too) to the point where it's hard to stay for long. Tbh no idea how the servers are surviving in there.Been a regular forever and love the place, but the smoke is getting kind of crazy.
Visited taza about 3 times and the rice is always different. The tenders are great. The chicken shawarma is ok, better than lazeez. It is a bit expensive for the quality. Overall 7/10. Place is cozy and clean. Very sweet cashier.
This was not the first time I have seen this store filled with smoke due to poor ventilation… but this was the first time for us to sit in a restaurant that is filled with heat and smoke. We went in with our 3 yrs old daughter and turned out to be a huge mistake, I don’t know how those 2 staff worked there for a whole day in this hazardous environment, but I do know that we started coughing hard after 10 mins. I give one start to the friendly staff who I sincerely feel sorry for, and probably will not go back again until it’s ventilation system is fixed. The owner of this place needs to know that they will be out of customer soon if they can’t even take care of something so basic for a restaurant!
Chicken seems to be old and just reheated.Tahini is spoiled.It came without cutlery or napkins.Got a heartburn and light cramps after that meal.Never again.
I have been going to Taza Xpress for the last 4 years. Yesterday was my last day. Picked up Chicken Taouk for the family. I went home and my son spat out the chicken. The chicken smelled and was stale. Went back to store, they cut the chicken and agreed it was stale. Apology from the student working ther but not the main manager taking orders. They gave me shawarma instead. The shawarma was burnt and felt recycled fromprevious day. Tahini tastes stale as well. Threw our dinner and resorted to eating at home. I have receipts from the purchase as well. I have decided to never go back and protect my family from falling sick.
Place was dirty, dated and not very inviting. It seems a bunch of kids are running it. One of the guys behind the counter had his friend hanging out and they were loudly chatting in Arabic the whole time we were eating.I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was horrible. The meat was cut in square large chunks and not cooked properly.Shish Tawook shawarma was loaded up with hot sauce and was extremely soggy.I do know Taza has several locations. This place should be reviewed by management as its on its way down.
I don't know how to rate this restaurant. Whenever I purchase food in the morning, it is decent. But in the afternoon, it is terrible. The fries are half the quantity, wraps are not stuffed well, there isn't enough sauce in the wrap, order is missing. I have noticed this on multiple occassions. The afternoon and evening staff is just terrible.
Asked for med spicy shawarmas as usual, but they were extremely spicy this time, so they clearly over did it with the sauce. When I called bc we couldn't eat them and asked for new ones, very politely, the girl said that they would replace them right away, so I thanked her very much for correcting the situation. I called on my way back to pick up the new wraps, without the spice this time, a different women answered and said that the other girl was new and that the manager will not replace the sandwiches and that I can turn around and go back home! I was appalled at the rude and ignorant response and told them that if this is the way they treat their customers then I will make sure everyone knows about it! UNBELIEVABLE!!! ZERO customer service, and the food was terrible. We also ordered fries and taboule, the fries were ok, but the tabouli was terrible as well. Not impressed, will stick with Montforts next time!
It used to be good but started getting worse over time they cant even open on time its time to open an they leave to get a coffee like no everything shouls be ready to go an open by opening time not 20 30 mims after customers service is trash wont be going back
