Either this is new owners because when I came here in 2019 it was never this bad. It took 30 minutes for our food and the salad had one olive in it with wilted lettuce. The lady working was not friendly and hardly knew what ingredients were in the food. We won't be going back here again.
waste of time. waste of money. rude service from the woman behind the counter. bad food (fatty over-salted under-seasoned pork, cheap feta, dry rice, old potato). i love souvlaki hut but this location should be shut down for insulting the souvlaki hut name. go to port credit or greek taverna for a good meal. worst location!
The chicken was so tender. The salad was so so. Whatever that honey cinnamon tasting thing they threw in was so delicious.
Food is decent but service is far too slow. Shouldn’t take 20 mins to prepare a chicken souvlaki sandwich during dinner hour. You should have enough chicken skewers already cooking in anticipation of orders. I’ve been here twice and been the same both times.
Worst Greek salad I've ever seen. No cucumbers, minimal tomatoes and olives, shredded cheap feta, white onion, mostly iceberg lettuce, weak dressing mostly oil. 25 bux with chicken. Never again
Their chicken, pork & lamb souvlaki dinners are just as delicious as going to the Danforth for an authentic ??Greek dinner. The meat is perfectly seasoned and tender cooked to perfection. The rice & potatos are perfect & the spanakopita is authentic. The phyllo is very light & airy. Their portions are very big & the complimentary honey cinnamon sticks are great. The staff & service is wonderful.Truly a ?gem on Kerr St.
Food good the place very poor,
Ordered through Skip, and I usually order from the other Souvlaki Hut location. Today I decided to try this one. Big Mistake.Food took 1.5 hours to arrive. You read that right - an hour and a half. Thats just not justifyable. I'm less than 5km from them - and it wasnt skips fault - they confirmed it was the restaurant that was behind.Food was decent which is why this is getting 2 stars at all, but the fries for one order were cold and stale. Also stop putting food from spearate orders together - they should be separated. One bag of pita, dessert, and mixed all the tzatziki together isn't what was requested - it should all be in separate containers like all the others locations do it.Finally - why no cutlery. How would you expect people to eat their orders? Please include cutlery with these orders.
The food is really good. Especially the souvlaki dinners. However, like everything else the prices are experiencing severe inflation. Back in 2015 the large chicken souvlaki dinner was around $14. Today it's $23 dollars.
Absolutely love this place. Food is always fresh as they claim. Only con is you have to wait for good 15-20 mins which I don’t mind for fresh and healthy food. Will definitely recommend & visit again !
