Had a BLT on a plain bagel this morning. My first time at this location and I was not impressed. ? There were many flies, which is a turn off. My BLT was very wet. Luckily, I ate in in the parking lot. I was not provided with any napkins for my wet sandwich, which was pretty sad. For what I got, the pricing was too high. The taste of the plain bagel was ok. Very disappointing experience. ☹️ At least parking was not an issue.?
Checked out OKO bagels last week and it was pretty good. We got 2 smoked salmon bagel, one on a rosemary sea salt and the other on a whole wheat everything bagel. We also got a Montreal smoked meat on an onion bagel.Overall it was fresh and tasted yummy. The smoked salmon was my personal fav and a go to for me!
The bagels here are perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I tried the trout, fig and cheese, and beef sandwich and they all did not disappoint. My favourite was the beef sandwich since the caramelized onions were so good. The flavours are definitely a bit on the sweeter side but I didn't mind! They also sell fresh tubs of cream cheese that currently range from $6-$7. Definitely my new go-to spot for bagels in the area.
Have seen these bagels all over IG and when I got the chance to visit them, I didn’t know what to expect!Let me tell you, not disappointed at all! The bagels had a nice chewy bite once you break through that flavourful exterior.They also have some amazing flavoured bagels! They have your classics on top of some unique ones.My fave had to be the caprese, smoked salmon and the blt. The caprese couple with the rosemary sea salt bagel was such a nice balanced combo! You get hit with the aroma of the rosemary that’s dressed all over the bagel cut off with some saltiness to the end of the bite!Service was on point as well! All the time with a smile and lots of great recommendations by the staff whenever we had questions.You can tell this is an amazing bagel spot as there was just a continuous flow of customers one going in, coming out with a couple bags and the next one would come! We're so glad to have discovered a spot for Montreal-style bagels close to home! The Oakville location is well-maintained and takes COVID precautions seriously - something we truly appreciate. At their recommendation, we ordered the classic smoked salmon on a rosemary and sea salt bagel, and the caprese on an Everything bagel. We were pleasantly surprised by the crispy exterior and chewy interior of the bagel! The fillings paired well and we can see why there's always a long line-up...by early afternoon most of the bagels are already sold out! We also loved that they carry home-made cream cheese in a variety of different flavours...we'll definitely be back to try some of them!
It was my first time trying Montreal-style bagels where the texture is more dense and chewy with a crispy exterior! They have lots of different bagels to choose from, along with a variety of cream cheese flavours. The sweet and savoury combo of the fig & goat cheese was so yummy, and i liked how there was arugula in there for some freshness. My mom got the caprese which had mozzarella + turkey + tomato + basil! Will be back to try more of their bagel sandwiches :)

Oko bagels is the spot for all your bagel needs !!Specializes in Montreal Style Bagel. A defining feature of a Montreal Style bagel is that it is always baked in a wood-fired oven. These bagels were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.There are so many flavours to choose from Coconut, Cinnamon sugar, Whole wheat everything, Poppyseed, Chocolate chips, Blueberry, Rosemary and salt and many more . The blueberry is one of my favourite!You can customize any of these bagels with their selection of flavoured cream cheese or with any of their sandwiches fillings.Three sandwiches I got are:TROUT- Smoked trout, honey mustard, arugula, black pepper. Was my favourite one! I love everything with honey mustard and it complimented the trout well, the onion bagel I chose was also very flavourful!BEEF-Smoked Meat, Onion and Oro sauce. I chose Everything bagel. I really like smoked meat and everything bagel makes everything better!CAPRESE-Mozzarella, Turkey, Basil, Olive oil, sea salt and pepper, I had this on poppyseed. I felt like the toppings could be more in this one since I like my sandwiches thick.

There's various locations in the GTA which makes it more accessible to everyone. Different options to choose from for bagels - from rosemary sea salt to onion and so much more.Visited a little closer to closing time so there wasn't much left. Store is a little small but has covid protocols in place. I love that they have a mini market and you can find other products, other than just bagel there. You can also get discounts on day-old bagels. If you prefer prepackaged fresh bagels, you can also purchase that.I liked the salmon bagel. I also tried the trout.
