This place has the best ice cream and gelato in Oakville by far. They have unique flavours, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and gorgeous artwork on the walls. They also never skimp out on the amount of ice cream they give, and always fill the cups to the brim. The staff is good about giving recommendations and explaining the different flavours. Each time I’ve been there the line hasn’t been very long, which is good in terms of convenience, but I do wish more people knew about this hidden gem. It’s the only ice cream place I would go to in downtown Oakville, I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already!!
I had a great experience today with outstanding service!! I ordered tea for two for Mother's day with delivery. I made an error in the delivery date. Nyla’s went out of their way to make my order and deliver within the hour. Delicious sandwiches, teas, scones and treats!! Beautifully packaged as well!! Made for a special lunch today!! I discovered Nyla’s Room in 2020 and it became my favourite gelato place in the GTA - a must try is the rum and raisin gelato. Then I celebrated my birthday at their location for afternoon tea and it was fabulous. I am a tea connoisseur and Nyla’s stands above the other places I have dined. Stop in also for lunch their soups and sandwiches fill you with love! I would rate Nyla’s Room platinum level when it comes to food quality and customer service. This was truly the best place I have ever been for high tea. Food was fresh and genuine and plentiful! Service was outstanding and lots of tea choices. A great way to spend an afternoon.
Was greeted and I think the store owner/manager chatted with us about the different products they make and showed us their teas. I can't wait to come back and try the gelato.
Had the tea at home delivered as a treat over the Christmas break. The food was delicious and the tea selections were lovely. The scones were especially good. The gelato/sorbet was a nice addition. We will definitely be ordering from Nyla’s again.
Absolutely delicious sweets, sandwiches and biscuits with jam. I used to pop in for gelato, which was always very tasty, but I had the chance to try some of their other menu items.. and WOW! Customer service is always great and the staff are polite and helpful. A true gem in downtown Oakville!Thank you!
We tried the vegan gelato, so delicious, kids were happy. Plenty of other options for vegans. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return.
Honestly one of my top afternoon tea experiences, a new hidden gem that won't stay hidden too long. The staff is attentive, caring and goes beyond to make sure me and my friend have the best time. Food was awesome, music was great, we love t-swift. We were stuffed by the end! Check Nyla out!
We had a wonderful afternoon tea. Anita was a delightful hostess! The tea was lovely, the sandwiches, scones and sweets were delicious. The gelato was excellent and such a nice addition to the meal. We left with beautiful boxes of leftovers we're each hoping we don't have to share. We've enjoyed afternoon tea at many places throughout the GTA and I would say this was one of the nicest!
