Ambiance = 10/10Service = 6/10Food = 5/10Order 2 chefs specials but they came over cooked. The serving size is pretty big though. Service was very slow. Probably because I was in the non-smoking area and they were more focused on the customers with sheesha’s. Overall a good place if you wanna have sheesha and socialise but food … won’t recommend it.
Amazing food, great service! Loved the Mixed Grill, Beef Sausage app and Sugar Cane juice. Sooo good. Will definitely be back!
Great Atmosphere and food was great. It is a bit over priced. The service lacked a bit. Unfortunately, our server disregarded our table. Never came back to check, no refills, and took a long time to bring the bill.
Been here quite a few times, a good place to meet friends. The interior design is really nice for selfies and group pictures. They have nice salads which have pomegranate seeds in them. Mango Konafa is also a must try.
Cozy, authentic, friendly professional and more.First time to visit and will not be the last, I loved the food that is served in enough portions and great quality. Staff is super welcoming and helpful. Place is roomy and cozy.I only had a fried shrimps sandwich today, it’s made with a whole wheat Arabic bread cut into two halfs, served with fries, tahini, 1000 island sauce (if I’m correct), and pickles.I my next visit I will try different meals.Thanks.
We came here for lunch. The restaurant is really well decorated, very cool.Service was excellent, very helpful staff. We started with some Turkish coffee. Wow.We had kebab plates with their specialty bread (like pitas) they make in house. The food was wow, amazing. They let us try their oven baked rice pudding. Very tasty.
?? Syrian & Egyptian ??Finally tried @moodscanada - recommended by the amazing @yyzfoodcritic_ ? If you haven't followed her please do! She has a new account - the old one was hacked.✅ Clean✅ Aesthetic✅ HospitalityThis is a beautiful restaurant owned by a very sweet and hospitable Syrian and Egyptian couple. We liked the vibe of the place - low and relaxed instrumental music with lots of seating space. The menu has a wide selection of different dishes from different countries, and everything is reasonably priced. The portions are good for 1 person. Shisha was ??????We ordered:Syrian Style Fattah~~~Chef Special: Creamy Beef Kabob with the green peppercorn cream sauce~~~Om Ali (Dessert) - This was on the house - did I mention the owners are sweet and generous? ☺️All the food was really yummy and I would come back to eat again + would recommend to anyone craving Arab style dishes. The Fattah was perfectly done with perfect portions of pomegranates and nuts. The beef was not hard or dry - perfectly sauced up and chewy. It was my first time having Om Ali and I loved it! My husband said this was the best one he'd had so far. I would say this dish is big enough to be shared.
My husband and I went to Moods today for breakfast and it was an enjoyable and amazing experience. First, I fell in love with the decor of the place. It’s so authentic and unique. From the moment walked in until we paid our bill and left we received spectacular customer service. We ordered falafel, Shakshuka, and cheese and zaatar managesh with red tea and shisha. Food was delicious and portions were generous! Our server was friendly and made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely visit again.
I had a very bad experience at Moods and it is practice regarding their food hygiene/safety policy. Two weeks ago, I went to Moods with a group of friends. We ordered dinner and I ordered Pepsi. During dinner, I asked for a refill. A few minutes later, I received my Pepsi refill. I took a couple of sips and then I noticed red lipstick on the straw. I called the waiter to notify him of the incident. He laughed and said he will bring a new glass with a new straw. I was not very satisfied with t
I was not very satisfied with this reaction so I spoke with the manager, Shadi. To my surprised, he downplayed the incident, laughed and asked me if I liked the taste of the lipstick. At that point, I was very pissed and taken back by the responses. For two weeks that followed, I lived in fear of catching COVID or any other disease. I tested myself several times for COVID and I tried to quarantine myself as much as possible. Thank god, I was cleared. And thank you Moods for your awesome customer service and for knowing how to look after your customers. This incident with the straw is what I noticed, only god knows what else is going on with our food without us knowing.
