Tried this indian place and their chicken biryani was really tasty! All the flavors are there and the chicken was tender! Do give it a try ?Samosa Chaat was okay okay for me.Was served some papads too - on the house.The staff was very friendly.If you are in the area, do check them out as the food is healthy and cooked in less oil.. thumbs up for that! ?
RESTAURANT SPACE- well decorated, quaint and comfortable.there is an eat in section for dining and a take out side to this place.SERVICE: we were the only ones sitting inside this restaurant at the time, although the take out seemed quite busy. The staff were pleasant and very friendly, however we had to catch their attention to let them know we wanted to sit and dine in as they seemed pre-occupied with the take out side. The staff were very nice but certainly not attentive and it didn’t feel like a dining experience.FOOD: The menu seemed to have lots of options for all types of appetites. Vegan, vegetarian and meat lovers. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken vindaloo and a cauliflower curry. The butter chicken was nothing like we have ever had before. In fact, I wouldn’t call it butter chicken at all. It was ok, but not a tomato creamy sauce, but rather a stew like sauce with little flavour. The chicken vindaloo had nice pieces of white, tender meat, but the sauce was definitely not a vindaloo sauce. It had an overpowering orange peel taste infused in it, which I’m pretty sure is not part of this recipe at most places. I would pass on this in the future. The cauliflower and potato curry was decent, but again more like a stew and very bland. The roti was good, but nothing to brag about.CLEANLINESS: The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms.Overall, I would only give this restaurant the 4* because they were nice. This was definitely not a style of Indian food that I have ever had or want to have again. Very bland and not full of flavours. The fact that the restaurant was empty should have been a big warning sign. The food here was edible but definitely not something I would recommend if you like good Indian food.
The best Lamb biriyani in Oakville!Usually when it’s closing time we don’t receive the good quality food. But, this restaurant stands out with their quality, quantity and in other words it was finger licking good. Would definitely visit again to try their different dishes. Great job guys! ?
Food is good. My humble suggestion to the owners, simply your menu. It is too confusing. Your sales can increase multi fold but every time we have ordered it is a twisty experience for us !! But food taste good !
Hands down the best Indian cuisine I've ever had! Every dish we had was high quality and full of so much flavour! You can't go wrong, you won't be disappointed!Also, the owners are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. This translates through to their food and service.
This is my family and I's absolute favourite Indian restaurant. Not a week passes by where we don't order from here. Not only is the food amazing but the workers are always so friendly especially Sandy. My order seemed to have gotten messed up but Sandy was very accommodating and even personally came to drop off the correct order after her shift was complete (which was after 11PM!). Cannot recommend this place enough! 100/10
Maurya has become our go to for Indian cuisine. The flavours are incredible! Portions are also great. They get busy, which frankly, I am so glad to see during lockdown! Try it…you won’t be disappointed.
Fantastic biriani and great staff. Consistently good food, try the medium spiced chicken biriani you will not be disappointed!Tricky timing, phone ahead and add 15 to the eta.
