We picked up some catered foods for a family event. The flavours were great all around but the chicken was dry. The vegetables were a bit over done - bordering on mushy. The potatoes we loved and the portions were decent.
Best chicken around. The sides are all top notch. Great price and value for what you get, definitely drop in if you're nearby
Love the grilled chicken , juicy and tasty. Also the cod fish croquettes are crispy and yummy. Friendly chef and cashier ?
Disappointed. I liked the chicken but that’s it. Sides weren’t very good. I usually enjoy Portuguese food, but I’m not a fan of this place.
Walked in today with plans to order for today as well as an upcoming family gathering. One person in front of us was ordering. Another person walked in behind us and the counter ignored us to turn her attention to the person who walked in behind. We left and will not return. Shame as we were looking forward to it.
First time trying this place, and was the food ever good. From the moment you open the door “wow” does it ever smell gooood! I had the ribs and they were fall of the bone! Best potatoes I have ever had- such great flavour!!! Will definitely be going back to try many other things. I would recommend giving them a try for sure.
I have been coming to this location for years now and I do not intend to change that any time soon. From amazing food to amazing people behind the counter, I always look forward to my Friday Mario's run! This is hands down my favourite establishment with some of the best chicken I've ever had. I will gladly continue to speed over at exactly 11 AM on Fridays to get my half chicken with rice and vegetables! Do yourself a favour and eat here! (Daniel Johnson).
We have ordered from Mario's many times and it has always been a pleasant experience. Amazing food, great portion size, great price and friendly staff! 5/5 would recommend!
The chicken and roast potatoes are very tasty. However, the takeout containers are styrofoam, which goes directly into landfill and is a health concern.Other places are trying hard to have compostable containers (best option) and many have recyclable plastic, which isn’t great but better than polystyrene. So won’t be returning.
Food tasty but the young man who served me needs to take a course in customer service. Not welcoming at all. Actually rude. Because of the “lack” of customer service I definitely won’t be going back
