We just received our order. My chicken fajita bowl was missing the vinaigrette, cream sauce, and tortilla straws. I also could count the pieces if romaine in one hand. Very disappointing as I know this is usually a great salad bowl. Had I been in the restaurant i would have returned it, but as we ordered delivery I don’t get that option. I have for the past two years ordered delivery from various restaurants to support them. I will no longer be ordering from them.
Horrible experience. Worst ever at lonestar. Went here to celebrate a family members new job, as this is usually where we come to celebrate. We were seated right away at a table down in the far corner. Once we were at the table it took an exceptionally long time for our waitress to come and greet us. Finally after 15+ minutes (the restaurant was not that busy) someone came over and apologized for the wait. She asked if we wanted drinks and we said we might as well order our food too since we had been waiting so long. She brought us over our drinks and chips/dip (which were ALL crumbs). After another exceptionally long wait, someone (not our waitress) brought over one of our three meals - chicken fingers and fries. The chicken fingers and fries were stone cold and we then had to wait again for the other two meals - fajitas - to be delivered. There was no one to flag down to tell them about the temperature issue as we were in the far back corner and by the time the fajitas came, everyone was starving and the chicken fingers and fries had already been started. There were also no plates for the fajitas so we had to again wait to flag someone down and get plates. No one checked in on how our meal went, and when our waitress finally came back at the end to ask if we needed anything else, we ordered a refill on our pop (which WASN’T free) and a glass of wine - no one took the empty plates while we finished our drinks. We did mention our displeasure with the waitress at the end of our meal, but nothing was done about it. Won’t be returning for future celebratory meals.
Went there for mother's day . Me and my 2 kids ended up with gas and stomach pains all day. Doesn't seem like they prepare food properly , a warning flag it seems.
The server was new but she did a good job. Her not wearing a mask at the table was unnerving. I ordered the veggie and mushroom fajitas with lettuce wraps. The skillet that came did not contain the ingredients listed on the menu. It seemed to be mostly chopped up salsa with some mushrooms added in. It was very salty. Whoever was working in the kitchen did not know what that dish was supposed to be according to the menu. The lettuce wraps were leaves and extremely small. For the $30 plus dollars that I paid for my bill it wasn't worth it. $3.99 for a pop and no refill was given. Ouch!
I ordered dinner through Uber eats on my husbands birthday from this place (Lone Star Oakville location) because I heard they have the best fajitas so I gave them a try. I ordered fajitas for 2 and a burger and fries. They missed the main components to both meals. No tortillas for the fajitas? Like that’s the whole dinner? And missing the fries for the burger? Literally missing the main parts of both dinners. Could not eat or enjoy the dinner at all. It took one hour to arrive so everything was ice cold too. Thanks for ruining his birthday dinner. Worst experience ever and such a waste of money. I also got greeted with attitude over the phone when I asked to speak with the manager. Sorry not trying to be a Karen but I’m the one that got ripped off with no dinner to eat on my husbands birthday. I have the right to be disappointed. The manager was nice and offered a gift card but I declined. Will never return again.
Last Friday night we got a night out without kids! So we excitedly decided on Fajitas at Lonestar Oakville location. What a disappointment.For $47.49 (!) we got minimal steak and chicken (not nearly enough for 2 people), paper thin and scant peppers amongst a mountain of onions, and excessively thick tortillas. Sides were adequate, barely. Atmosphere was pleasant and service was good (not the server's fault) - but the food quantity really did not deliver. My previous experience with fajitas here and elsewhere has been plenty of food - especially at that price point. Sadly, I would not recommend.
I recently went to Lone Star for the first time and let me tell you this will not be my last time!!! I had a phenomenal experience with our server Piñata!! He was so much fun and had incredible recommendations! Absolutely loved my experience here!! The environment was superb and the food was delicious! Thanks again for the excellent service Piñata!!! :)
Went here for margaritas and they've got quite the selection. I got the strawberry mango margarita and it was really good. Everyone at my party enjoyed their drinks. The server was really attentive and kept the tortilla chips coming!
It was a fine dining experience!Our server, Andrea, was very professional and helpful.We ordered ribs, fajitas and chicken wings - all was spiced and marinated to perfection. The chef is obviously a master chef....and of course we had lime Margheritas.. exquisite!
the fish tacos were quite good and liked the sweet potato fries. the Mexican poutine was delicious and my husband loved the chimichanga. will definitely go back. service was really great too. waitress was prompt and friendly
