Food is really good. Burgers were amazing. Fries over garlic potatoes for sure. Slightly pricey but very good based on the quality! Will come again
I went there last week and although they put effort into the burger itself, the meat just didn't taste very juicy. It tasted more like a kebab than a burger. But the fries were really great!!They have also put a great deal of effort with the pirate theme and that's cool.
Shawarma-infused poutine. Delicious, fun, fast and friendly. And the free parking in the back is a nice bonus. Will definitely visit again.
Recently my husband and I went to visit our son who is attending college in Oakville. We spent the day walking around the lake and shopping in various stores downtown and in Kerr Village. When it was time to eat we chose Hangry Pirates, and so glad we did! My husband very much enjoyed his shawarma, I had a Pirate Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in awhile, well seasoned and cooked just right..and it had crispy onions...and the pirate dip was so good I dipped my fries in it and put it on my burger. My son, who is vegan, had the Falafal Burger and said it was really good. He originally ordered it with garlic potatoes but one of the employees kindly informed him that there were eggs and dairy products in them so he got fries instead. Oh! And the fries were delicious too, nice and crispy and cooked perfectly. The portions were good, we even took some home. The employees were super nice, the place was clean and cute and the food was great! The only downside is that we do not live in Oakville and our son is almost finished school, so it will be awhile before we can visit again, but we will for sure someday :)
I like the shawarma in this restaurant, it’s very delicious and tasty, the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, I visited this location more than four times, in every time, the food was excellent, if you like chicken shawarma, ai advice you to go and try it in this place.Thank you staff for your care
I have been grabbing lunch here for a while now. Burgers are always hot and juicy. Fries are crispy and plentiful. They do their own take on shawarma, which is probably closer to a wrap than a pita, but it’s still great, all the flavor is there. Never had to wait for my order, the store always seems clean and orderly, and the staff are nice and accommodating.
Fries are top tier, the workers are nice and the philly cheese I get is great! The combo is a must.-1 Star because the main dish is pretty small in my opinion, ordering it alone would not nearly be enough.
Just went to Oakville today to try this place!! I am not disappointed. I have to say my favourite was their fries. They seasoned them so deliciously. I even had their shawarma which was also super good, their portion sizes are amazing (huge).
Stopped by for dine in with a friend a while ago. The burgers weren't good enough for me to come back a second time. It was just ok but I did like the menu selection available and the interior as the space is nicely decorated and themed.The burgers didn't have the wow factor for me as it cannot compare to some of the best burgers in the GTA at The Burger Alley in Scarborough or Burger Factory or Gladiator. However, they were a generous portion and filling. I like that it was made fresh.We had a good dine in experience overall. Prices were reasonable as well. I don't like the parking offered outside.
Stopped by for dinner as our regular burger place (Gladiator) was closed due to the holidays so thought we’d try this one as the reviews seemed good. It’s a small outlet with a neat / clean interior and seating but essentially gives the impression of a take out joint.Ordered the Pirate Burger and Philly Cheese Steak sandwich combo (fries and pop). The Pirate burger was extremely bland and tasteless while the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich was slightly better but nothing wow. Fries were just ok.There are definitely better burger places than this one. Not worth the visit….at least for me.
