THE best chocolate croissant I've had in a long time
Stopped at the Croissant while cycling to Niagara. Good coffee but the absolute highlight was the almond butter croissant. Will be cycling back another weekend to buy more! ?♥️The owner also helped us out by lending tools to one rider that was having bike trouble.
Until today we really liked this cafe. But today upon returning from the washroom I was hauled to one side by the owner and told that the washroom was strictly for staff only. He’d over look it this time (lucky cause I don’t know how to reverse the process) but I should not use it again. But what made it strange is that on previous occasions I’d asked staff where is the washroom/could o use it and they’d directed me to it. Can you really have a sit down cafe and expect no customers to need the washroom. Doesn’t matter I guess because we won’t darken his doorstep ever again!
This is one of my regular spots to grab a croissant. They have a great selection on their menu and it’s all delicious from what I’ve tasted. My favourite is the tuna melt on a croissant.The main reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the service is never friendly. The pastries are also hit or miss. Plus the hot drinks are just okay. I’ve tried the London fog multiple times but each time there was barely any tea , just all steamed milk
Hands down…the BEST almond croissant I’ve ever had in my life!!! It was incredible and I’m already dreaming about my next one ❤️?
Food 5/5Customer Appreciation - 5/5 (for the lady who served us)The only issue that I felt.. It's the front waitress.. the moment she saw us.. Felt like her face changed now giving the demographic of the locals (majority or almost 100% Caucasians and us being 3 brown boys and 1 mixed baby) we expect a look from others in a town like that. It's just.. I had my 3 years old daughter with me and I just don't like to get a look or I don't like when other people giving my daughter that look (you don't belong here). The lady who helped us was extremely nice. She was not Caucasian but other two girls.. Either they are overworked or just not in the right settings. Anyways food wise it was excellent. Will come back again. May be I was just looking into things too much than necessary or may be I am too used to getting thst look in this country.
We have had only had great service here from other staff until this morning. The woman behind the counter glared at me when I came in the door and it only went downhill from there. (Yes, I am still wearing a mask because my family situation demands I be more cautious than most folks and we are still wearing masks in indoor spaces and practicing social distancing -I am happy the mandates have been lifted and we are coming out of this thing but I have to be more careful than most folks right now.) When this women finished serving the customer in front of me, she found many other tasks that needed doing rather than serve me. When she finally had to acknowledge me, she did so in a manner that was rude, hostile and completely unprofessional. She gave me a flat stare and and said 'what' and when I provided my order, she literally rolled her eyes and said 'sure' in the same tone. I was too shocked to say anything, I have never experienced that level of abuse from anyone and I am not going to ever again. Any establishment that thinks it's ok to treat their customers like that does not deserve to stay in business. Judging from the other comments here citing the same behaviour from this woman, this has been going on for awhile. There are so many other great places in Oakville that do not inflict their political views or bad tempers on their customers and they will be getting my business.

This is great local café with nice staff and lovely ambience!You can find some of the best croissants in different tastes and creams here. ? I suggest the apple cinnamon cream pastry as well, that’s a top notch!For lunch we had grilled chicken veggie and melted tuna sandwich. Both were great, delicious with their own bake breads. ?
I absolutely loves the croissants at this place. Ive been to other places but i always keep coming back here. Great job keep it up!
