Chucks is amazing. I had heard good things and was not disappointed. The bill for friendly and informative service and fantastic food was a wonderful revelation. What's not to like about a liter of Heineken for under 10$, and 1/2 price delicious appetizers after 9 PM. The choices are many, and ample , full plate appeal with a smile. I went to see Wimbledon and my wish was looked after immediately. Thank you!
An all-time great of cheap Oakville restaurants. If you go after 9 for a sports game or whatever, you get half off all apps, which is nuts value. Otherwise, you can just get a burger for like $6 or whatever, and that's pretty good too. All the food here is ok, in my experience. Nothing crazy, but it's so cheap that you're never let down... although saying that, sometimes it really isn't great. But again, you shouldn't expect great when it's so cheap.A solid, economical place to go when you feel like having a fun night without spending too much. However, they did, within the last year or two, take the fried pickles off the menu. Not good.
Nice environment ? , nice people working in the premises. I had chicken burger and it taste really good then expected. Over all good experience.
Let me just start by saying that if i could leave zero stars I would. I am currently sitting at Baton Rouge after leaving this Chuck's Roadhouse location in Oakville because I couldn't even stomach the experience. Where do I start? First of all, it took 30 minutes for a server to come around to my section to take my order and this was only after I called it to their attention. I watched them sit four other guests and take their orders before calling on the server to request my order. At least 3 servers made eye contact with me and walked right by me to inquire about other guests. UNACCEPTABLE!. Only for the food to arrive at the 57 minute mark and I pick up my utensils and see DRIED UP FOOD on my fork. DISGUSTING!. I politely asked that they take the food back and bring me the bill for the drink I ordered and the server returned and slapped down my receipt on the table. Long story short, if you're looking for a reputable restaurant with quality service and great vibes, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! 2 minutes at Baton Rouge and my order has already been taken and the quality of service is already ten times better than what I received at Chuck's Roadhouse. I will NOT be returning ever again and I suggest you guys do the same.
Better and worse than what I thought. I went to one 6 years ago in Hamilton. It was new and clean, but still a value-based menu. This location in Oakville is interesting. I can’t speak for daytime or dinner, I stopped in to watch end of some sports games on a Monday around 10pm.Mostly college age kids sprinkled with seniors and odd couples. An interesting mix. They weren’t short staffed, but the bartender basically had 20 tables. So I waited for the second drink and to order food took a few extra mins.Food review:After 9pm apps are half price. So I got a platter and a quesadilla. The quesadilla was surprisingly very good. Not fried at all, but baked, good crisp, and the trimmings (salsa & sour cream). Needs hot sauce or something, but tasty. Platter was more generic. 3-4 wings, 3-4 fingers, 5-6 onion rings. Was decent. Wings we’re good but breaded (I prefer non dusted options) they only offer “lightly floured.” But all the fried food was prepared well for average.If you’re cost conscious, budget focused or love steak options, this place is for you. I would recommend under these conditions. Have fun, don’t be too serious here.
The owner of this place (Ashish) is very unfriendly and rude. I’m a regular of this place and he doesn’t acknowledge me or say hi to me or anything. He needs to run a different business because he doesn’t know how to be Hospitable within the hospitality industry. He brought me my burger and fries and walks away without any silver wear, ketchup or anything else on the table. Terrible experience!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.Update:This issue was resolved by the owner quickly. Therefore I have changed my review to 5 stars. I appreciate the owner (Ashish) looking into this matter as I know the negligence wasn’t intentional. I’m happy with chucks roadhouse and their positive reaction to this matter.
Ceasars were spicy, the medium-rare porterhouse 20 Oz steak was juicy and just right. There were a lot of fries that accompanied the steak, couldn't finish even half of them and there was also a swret, juicy, half corn on the cob as part of the meal. The fried fish was crisp and fresh and served with fries also, but we upgraded it to an order of sweet potato fries for an extra $2. The server was pleasant and attentive, and the armosphere was warm and friendly . All in all, a great meal and we are definitely going back soon. It might take me a couple of days to burn off this meal though!
If you like cheap ribs on a Wednesday this place might be for you! Friendly staff good food what more could you want? Bargain ribs Wednesday that’s what!!! Go there!!
Ordered for pickup. Part of the order was shrimp tempura and chicken fingers. The sauce for the shrimp and the plum sauce for the chicken fingers was missing. Very frustrating and disappointing. This is not the first time that our order had items missing. Even when we have ordered through Uber, always something missing from the order. And management does nothing to improve on this issue. Calls go unanswered.
Prices are good and food is excellent. Waitress service from the bar area ranges from excellent to very poor depending on who is working. As a regular customer I was quite disspointed yesterday. Took three tries to get the waitresses attention to her service. Must have annoyed her since it only got worse. No nenue, no napkins or cutlery once food was served. Had to get the manager to process my bill. Probably going to avoid Tuesdays from now on.
