The women who run this cafe are so incredibly wonderful. If you say ‘what’s that flavour like!’ Before the words are even out of your mouth they’re making sure you get a sample. Reading other reviews complaining out it be slow makes me have a giggle. My god when did the best things in life ever be rushed! There’s a beautiful view to watch in the meantime! I had a very tasty matcha latte with some mint ice cream. The two servers were a treat to deal with. Both beautiful and spirit and body. The ice cream was very minty and absolutely delicious. It is made on site. The latte was outstanding. I was given a green spoon to match.As I walked along the harbor front enjoying my ice cream and latte I was nothing but smiles. They truly lifted my day.Great work! I don't remember your names but I do remember your smiles.
I enjoy coming this cafe. Their cakes are very good especially their carrot and chocolate. Yes, sometimes their service is slow but the sisters are extremely nice and willing to please. They do their best. Perhaps the person who wrote the negative review can give them another chance. You can always call ahead and make sure they remember about your order. With restrictions from Covid they probably were just overwhelmed with keeping things open and safe.
The ad on the window is true. Best carrot cake ever! Super moist and not too sweet. Perfect ratio of cake to icing.
Initially came by for some tea and came back later that day for the carrot cake. Usually there's too much oil to keep it moist, or too much icing or nuts but that was not the case here. The cake was excellent! Service was also friendly and prompt.
If I could give this place zero stars - I would! My mom ordered this cake for a friends birthday, they took prepayment and then forgot about the order. When my mom arrived day off, this is what she was handed! How is this a $62 cake?!?!?? Horrendous!! Terrible experience and will never be ordering again!!
Just a cute Mom and Pop environment. Grabbed a latte, hot chocolate (non-dairy), and a scone and breakfast cookie. All yummy. Had their carrot cake on a prior visit - definitely a must try. Two little tables outside the front door and a whole number of picnic benches and Muskoka chairs across the street to enjoy their goodies.
Came here because Flavour Fox was closed. Nice cafe with good selection of drinks/desserts - but gelato is expensive and the woman was not wearing gloves to scoop which is kinda gross as her hands were right into the tub.
The best carrot cake I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend.
Lovely little cafe close to the waterfront. Very friendly staff, and definitely the BEST carrot cake. Also a great selection of gelatos.
