Honestly, hands down the most delicious Fish & Chips in Oakville! Reminds me so much of the ones in England. Crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy inside.We got two orders of halibut fish & chips, an order of just the halibut and a side of mushy peas. Huge portions and super friendly staff. We are already planning our next visit!
Restaurant was awesome and the prices are so worth it for the portions you get. The staff is amazing in there and they always treat you so well. A friend brought me here and since I’ve been, I’ve recommended it to all my friends who have also really enjoyed it as well. 10/10 would recommend!!

Pretty good haddock but fries are just ok, fairly overpriced as portions are not particularly large, expected more for the price.
Came here on my first trip to Canada and the staff made us feel so welcome. The fish and chips is truly the best I've ever had. I hope to return when I come back up and try the onion rings!

BIG RIP OFF !! We ordered 5 halibut & chips/2 coleslaws. When we got home to eat noticed the fish inside the huge amount of greasy batter was barely 1/4" thick. You read that right. Have never been served such a scanty piece of fish anywhere before. Not sure how they justify charging $18.95 per order for a sliver of fish in greasy batter and some fries. Will NEVER return and cannot understand the fuss over this place.
My last visit to Bronte Fish & Chips was on March 16th. To my delight the CherryCheesecake dessert is still being made.My portion looked NOTHING like the photo that was on my table. $5.65 + tax for what I received was a disgrace. My last visit.
The food was fresh, tasty, and very filling. Great place for lunch.
This is truly a local, family-run business. In Oakville for many years, the quality of the food is excellent, service is warm and personable; authentic old-style British fish and chips, everything is hand-cut and made to order.One other thing, the cherry cheesecake is homemade and is fabulous.
