Amazing food and spectacular service. Having dined at nearly all the restaurants in downtown Oakville, Borgia Antico stands above the rest. Authentic Italian food, full of flavour and generous portions, make the dining experience amazing. Service is without a doubt top notch. Several staff checked in with us multiple times but not too many, food was brought out at the right time, and dishes were cleared without us feeling rushed. Muskoka Sun cocktail was a perfect pairing with the sweltering heat outside. Highly recommend for romantic dinners or group gatherings.
Polenta fries wasn’t that good, you could smell the oil, but the salmon was great.
We had visited previously and service and food was excellent. This Saturday service was pushy, and hurrying us up not pleasant. Food appetizers were excellent but mains were sub-par for this restaurant. Overall visit was disappointing.
The food was delicious The portions were like Iâd ordered from the kids menu I donât mind paying a premium for a local business that offers great food, service and ambiance However I was disappointed on this occasion The service was not what I would expect from any restaurant least of all one like this one They forgot my drinks orders The charcuterie board came with a human hair on it And lose I mentioned earlier, while the food was delicious, the portion size was appallingâ¦. Charge a premium for sure⦠but donât provide a portion that wouldnât even fill a 6 years oldâs stomach and all it a Main course Regrettably will not be going back And I had to remind them a day later to credit my Open Table reservation

Was there last night for a first date. We had really great service, you could tell that the waiter was busy but made it a point to spend time with each table. Food was amazing, will be back again soon!
This was our first time at Borgo Antico. Inside was quite modern and very clean. Had the option to be inside or outside on the front patio area. The waiter was great - very engaging and did not hurry us to order. Great cocktail Menu and food was very good.
Food and wine were great. Service was very good but the noise level was too high. We were practically screaming to talk to eachother. I had the seabass with shrimp and it was perfect.
