One of the only restaurants with European quality food in the area. I have been going here for years and they never disappoint!
Limited menu and very expensive for what you get, Would we go back again probably not we have better authentic Italian food where we live and better. Oakville needs to experience Essex county and what they have to offer!!!!!!!!
Returned to 7 post-COVID. Manager was great. Food was very good albeit quite salty! We chose to return here as we had great memories of their white wine Sangria 1/4 full of fruit in a huge glass! Sadly their Sangria is not what it used to be. Only 1 orange wedge & tasted like they used Tang not real juice in the mix. We ended up drinking a bottle of wine instead. No cocktails as we didn’t trust they’d be made the same way as pre-COVID. Loved the shrimp & octopus appetizers! Be warned— prices have gone up considerably & portions are small! Our bill for 3ppl with tip $350. (2 appetizers, 1 bottle of Italian wine, 2 Orata fish dinners (small & served on appetizer sized plates not appropriate & difficult to cut on plate —also had many bones that nearly choked one of us!), 1 delicious pasta entree, 1 dessert, tea/coffee. Service was decent but our server disappeared by 10pm & we had trouble getting someone’s attention to get the bill (a weeknight). We were hungry an hour later. The upper outdoor patio under the arbours beside centre square is very pretty! 2-seater patio tables on upper level next to Tommy Bahama also romantic, very private (when retail store is closed). Can book a reservation on RESY but it asks for a credit card & a cancellation fee of $60.! Couldn’t believe it! There are other great Italian restaurants around (eg. Casalinga, Trattoria Timone) that are better value w larger portions, authentic high quality food, great wines.
We celebrated my daughter’s graduation and the menu was a perfect match for the occasion.The flavours are rich and decadent.So far, there isn’t anything on the menu that we have had, that I would hesitate to recommend.
Now, I am picky when it comes to Italian cuisine as many Canadian restaurants do fail to serve authentic tasting Italian dishes. 7Enoteca did not fail to impress. Every dish my table received was cooked to absolute perfection and the pizza was outstanding, reminding me of Italy.
Celebrated our 19th year Anniversary at 7 Enotica. We reserved via the Resy App as recommended by the hostess when I called in originally and I requested to have Champagne upon arrival on the app, which did not happen and was disappointing. I decided not to say anything about it. We were sat at table for 2 near the Open kitchen and the Manager came by to ensure that we didn’t mind being near the food traffic-we really didn’t. He asked if we were celebrating anything or just dining so we told him that it was our anniversary and he wished us well and to enjoy the evening. Our server was attentive and knowledgable with what was served, food was flavourful and looked amazing. Our cocktails were mixed well and was good in volume. After dinner and to our surprise, the other Manager came by with two stemmed glasses and Port wine. He explained that they wanted to add to our anniversary celebration by toasting us. He gave the background of the port wine before pouring and offering it to us.it was a very good port. The evening ended up to be most enjoyable with the great service, food and added personal touch with the toast in the end. Will certainly dine there again without hesitation.

Food was awesome!!! They make oven baked pizza. Seafood Bolognese got a really good sauce!! Never had a really good caesar salad so far! Yup the portions are not too big but the food is delicious ? Tiramisu is a must try!!
Best dining experience we’ve had in years. The service was impeccable and the food was beyond delicious. The red wine sangria was pretty amazing too :). We can’t believe we’ve lived in Oakville all these years and never discovered this place before. Luckily Gregory was standing out front when we walked by, so we had a chance to ask him what the restaurant was and he made space for us despite how booked they were. We sat at the bar around the pizza station and loved it.
Super awesome in all aspects. The food, the service, the interior decor. All of it. I am vegetarian and they were able to customize items to suit me. They were very accommodating and we had a lovely time. Definitely will be back soon.
