Initially i used to like their chicken shawarma a-lot . But one day i got to know from one of the employees that after 7 pm they mix both beef and chicken shawarma together and keep it in a container and serve the customers. I was surprised to know as I don’t eat beef as i am allergic to it. It’s totally a food contamination. I don’t know how they are serving like this. Their should be food inspection often on this place. After that I stopped eating shawarma from them because every time i eat from them i used to get allergies and realized afterwards the reason that they are mixing beef and chicken together and serving mix shwarmaz by lying. Very bad
Hard to find a good shawarma place these days and this place makes a delicious shawarma- the garlic , the tahini , hot sauce are amazing. I never tried the hummus as I like extra garlic and hot sauce in my the shawarma. The potato’s are also one of the best I’ve had. Make sure you get garlic , hot sauce on it. With so many shawarma places this is my go to and I’m never disappointed
Went inside only 1 customer was there and ordered 5 plates 2 shawarmas.Had to wait at least 15 minutes and still didn’t receive service. Left the store.You guys need more people to work in the store. Otherwise you won’t be able to serve everyone.Fix this issue and then I’ll give a better review. This is my go to spot. Wont be coming for a while.
Do you love shawarma sandwiches? You won’t ever want another place after this. Every other place is just there to fill the void if you aren’t in the area (I live up north). Who rated this place lower than a 5? I’ve been all over Europe and tried other shawarmas and this is top notch. The guys are so nice and the portions are huge and so much flavour. They make everything in house. You just have to try it.
We have ordered chicken shawarma on pita a few times as take out from this restaurant and it is by far the best Shawarma in Toronto !!! The chicken is delicious. The staff does an excellent job, They warm up the pita first, put an opening through it, cut shawarma and heat it on grill more. Once it is ready they put chicken in pita and all the yummy salad type of ingredient after it and they even put more chicken to it after the salad which I have never seen anywhere else. Their attention to detail is very much appreciated. It is super affordable too !! Whenever we are around that area this is our go to place to. I want to try different things in the menu too but their chicken shawarma is so good not sure when I will order something different from this place, lol. Highly recommended.
I had the best Shwarma I could find in the area here. The value is exceptional if you get the top up combo.All of the delicate morsels of beef were cooked to perfection, and brimming with veggies, radish, chick peas, cucumber, etc.The side I chose was potato topped with sauce. I opted for no spice, and the salt level as well as the flavour was just perfect. The combo and tip was around $13.50.I highly recommend this place, because the service is friendly and the guys are welcoming.
I recently bought a chicken shawarma plate form here, but it doesn’t goes up to the mark. They are actually charging a bit too high (14.99$) for the same in contrast with other shops which are serving very good and quality shawarmas at cheap rates. When it comes up to the quality, am not much satisfied with it, because the chicken was too salty.Expecting a good one on the next time ?!!
I went for a windshield replacement close to this place I ask the girl at the shop for a good place to have a bite around the area she said York shawarma five minutes walk so I went check menu ask for a chicken souvlaki and use a table to enjoy kind of late lunch the guy refuse cause dining area was close try to explain how about dining in with having both shot nothing he expect me to eat outside with minus 10 with windchill went back to shop to pick out my car empty stomach THANKS A LOT York shawarma
