A great family friendly restaurant with delicious food , everything we ordered was really good and big portions , even 3 of us couldn’t finish 1 pasta . One thing only it’s too busy , they basically don’t have time to give you even a bill , waited for it for more than 10 min . Note: better all at once cos you won’t have second chance and will wait for really long time additional dishes. Oh and forgot a coffee which we reminded couple of times . They obviously need more waiters .
I must’ve ordered the wrong dish, because I thought this restaurant was one of worst I’ve ever eaten at. I had to go to Harvey’s after because I ate one quarter of my Turkey club and couldn’t stomach the rest. The turkey was so dry it crumbled in my mouth and there was no seasoning on anything. The fries were the best part of meal and I can get those from Costco any day. My husband had the pork souvlaki and ended up with a mouthful of fat on his first bite. The rest of his pork was ok hence the two stars. Also, the place needs a serious deep clean. There were dust bunnies and old, hardened food littering the floor by the windows.I really am flabbergasted by all these positive reviews, but I can’t bring myself to give this place another shot.
Just literally walked out the door and enjoyed another heartwarming meal. I usually go for the pasta and shrimp dinner starting with calamari and bruschetta and my husband goes for the chicken souvlaki dinner. These are some of the best food items on this menu hands-down! The chicken souvlaki is always delicious and fresh, and nothing can beat the shrimp at this place. But, what I enjoy about most coming here, is the lovely service and the wonderful serving staff. Thank you so much for all that you do for my family.
So the food was solid, but something is wrong with the prices.Individual Gravy for $3.95? What?Tiny cup of coffee for $3.50? Huh?Slice of Cheesecake for $9.95? Really?Prices should be $1.99 for gravy, $1.50 for coffee, $6.99 for cheesecake.I was a regular customer but I think it's likely that we won't be returning as the prices just don't make sense for diner style.
Relaxed family friendly, senior friendly atmosphere. Roomy, clean, quiet but not pretentious. Lots of menu choices. What the pickle barrel would be like if they hadn't lost their way. No blaring music.Yay! Good value pre 11:00 am early bird breakfast specials.
Consistently delicious all day breakfast. Always leave feeling full and satisfied! Service is always extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
tasty and convenient diner food, they are very generous with their portions, everything feels kind of home-cooked, I highly recommend their breakfast home-fries and pancakes!
The Best Egg Benedict in Canada & USA! We’ve tried Egg Benedict everywhere we go for last 20 years. This the best one as of yet!
I come to this restaurant for special and social occasions. The food before the pandemic was delicious!! I'm not sure exactly what happened because their pork souvlaki before the pandemic, was flavorful and not pink. My pork souvlaki was pink today and they used pork shank instead... or some different cut of pork. It wasn't as tasty and it was dry... and pink? I hope mine was cooked properly. Maybe today was an off day so I'll give them another chance... but look at the difference between before and after the pandemic... these are the same dishes, pork souvlaki.
Local restaurant serving long standing clientele. Pleasant welcome and friendly service. Menu is traditional fare and all served hot & fast. The restaurant is slightly dated inside but maybe that fits a little with the overall deal. Price normal. The food was ok ….. however my fish as part of a fish & chips meal was really not good !! Looked on on the plate but in reality it was poor.
