No more self serve due to COVID. Still, the service is quick and baked goods always fresh.

Went there for years. Happy with their breads, bagels, pies and sandwiches.Great prices and a friendly customer service experience. Am not a regular customer, but was treated like one of them. I liked that and am recommending this store. 5 *?
Best bagels in town. Great variety and good assortment of other baked goods.
hi I use to buy a lots of bagel from this location but they start making their bagel very small and they don’t make healthy bagel anymore like before they stop making multigrain and 12 grain I want these two service back like before thank you
Good bagels. Very large. No onion, but they have various others. Few different cream cheeses and lox available.
Haven't ever been to what a bagel before. This was my first time. Staff were super impatient and not helpful about what to do and how to order. I didn't know it was a 2 step ordering process. Was just demanded to pick a flavour of bagel for the ladies at the counter to make into a sandwhich. When it came to ordering my sandwhich they were out of salmon and bacon. Which was very sad considering it was 9:30am. It basically resulted in the worlds most depressing bagel with just lettuce and tomato on it since all the other options were not appealing to me. I also got mini chocolate and cheese danish things and they are just dry unsweetened bread. Which again is sad considering it was 9:30am, I could have accepted dry pastry at 6pm but not in the morning. I don't know how elsd to describe it other then just a sad experience honestly. I don't understand the hype of what a bagel, it just wasn't good and now I am $10 poorer ?♀️
WHAT A BEGAL... The name is really suitable for the bakery. My goodness what a begal that was. Super soft and fresh. So many verities of begals. The most I liked was different flavored cream cheese.Egg salad on begal was so yummy, I can not describe the taste. It was perfect. The pastries were also super delicious.Freshly baked breads. I am definitely coming here for the breads and begals from now on.
Haven't been to a What A Bagel in years. Went to this location at Leslie & York Mills on Tues., Oct. 12 before closing at 6 pm. There was no end-of-day sale.I bought a dozen bagels, cream cheese and pastries.I wanted a bag of assorted bagels but all that was available was one kind of bagel by the bag. I opted to select my dozen from the baskets. I got a mix of poppy seed and poppy seed/sesame. The bagels are not great. They're dry and toast hard. I don't remember them being like this. Maybe the bagged ones are fresher? I can find better bagels in the freezer section at my grocer that are sprouted and with higher quality ingredients.I grabbed a container of cream cheese from the fridge only to realize after I got home that the one I selected was light cream cheese but it didn't taste light which was good. Cream cheese does seem premium with no modified milk ingredients.I also ordered 6 of their fancy pastries which I thought were over priced. I had to point at what I wanted, not knowing what anything is called because nothing is labelled. The patties were just okay and needed microwaving before consuming. They looked better than they tasted.Service was good.
Desserts are good. Cream cheese is excellent. Bagels not so much.
