Really great service and ambiance. We had seafood platter with rice and vegetables (daily specials) with huge portion. Pizza was delicious as always.
If you're in the area....check out Vivo Pizza+Pasta. So glad we stopped by. Every item we ordered was absolutely delicious. ??

Warm and welcoming environment and friendly staff. We were greeted by the pizza chef who spoke to us in fluent Italian. The calamari was absolutely delicious and the pizzas cooked to perfection, perfectly thin with fresh toppings. Lots of care and thought put into the dishes. This a hidden gem in North York and I’ll definitely be coming back!
Having worked in the customer service industry for 5 years, Alessandra at Vivo provided one of the best customer service experiences I have encountered to date. My friends and I went to Vivo North York for a birthday dinner and after notifying Alessandra we are here for a birthday celebration, she did everything she could to accommodate to the occasion. On top of going above and beyond to make the birthday guest truly feel special (including playing happy birthday on the speakers), she made sure our dining experience was amazing as well. One of the table guests was debating between the white wines, she provided him with two samples and said she'll check back on him later on. She truly made sure that everyone had an enjoyable meal and didn't want anyone to be disappointed. The food portions was generous, it is a classic Italian spot to go to! Our table group was the last to leave the restaurant, and she offered us to take our time, to take pictures, and that she can also take pictures for us. Thank you Alessandra for making this a memorable experience - I'll be recommending this specific location to anyone that is looking for a great Italian restaurant to dine at.
Amazing experience! Hard to find these type of pizzas in North York. Big portions and good price, I really enjoyed the seafood pasta, salad, and even the blueberry cheesecake. Our sever Yovana was amazing. She helped us decide our orders and made sure we had a pleasant experience . Will be back 100%Ps. every time I come they play good music
Attn:Management or owner of Vivo Pizza on Billy Bishop Way, North York.I write this review with an unpleasant experience at your establishment on the day of Saturday December 18th, 2021.I begin with the positive experience; well this isn't any.Now to the negative part....Upon entering your establishment in the evening at approximately 7pm with my lovely wife, we were greeted by a young woman who took us to our table. We glanced at the menu and after 5 minutes of thinking what drinks, appetizers, and main dish to order, we finally decided. However, we waited almost 15 minutes for a waiter or waitress to serve us. Nonetheless, we can overlook that part. Finally, a middle aged waitress (possibly in her late 30s or early 40s) finally arrived at our table. There was no greeting us or breaking the ice, but instead just asked what we want to order. There was no enthusiasm or an eagerness to serve or offer any help (in other words, she does not have customer service skills). It appeared that she is only doing this job for the sake of money and not for the overall success of the business. This should be a red flag to the owner. The overall success of your business depends not just on the food (which was just average) but also the people skills (customer service skills) from your staff. When our food finally arrived, this waitress just literally "dropped" the plates on our table and walked away. The look on my wife's face said it all. When she passed by our table again, she didn't even acknowledge us or ask how is the food (this is the first time in my life I've encountered this in a restaurant). I asked the waitress if she is having a bad day or what's the issue? She mentioned that it's busy and has to hop between other guests. I informed her that she should at least acknowledge and her reply was, "Thanks for your opinion".When it came time to pay the bill, I did not tip (I only covered the food and drinks). The waitress gave us a dirty look and didn't even thank us for our business.Management, please give this lady customer service training or get rid of her as she is bad for your business.
I only ever grab the Cesar salad with shrimp to go. Each time, including tonight, it's delicious! Shrimp is grilled perfectly. The dressing is plenty but not over powering. Fresh shaved parmigiana, tiny croutons that melt in your mouth. Very fair price at $19 with tax considering it's large size with shrimp. Very nice staff!
Went for dinner last night. Wasn’t expecting to go for Italian food, but super happy we did. Alessandra was very attentive and had a great understanding of the menu. She informed us of the specials and helped us make the right choice for our mains. Service was fast and the food tasted great! Would recommend and definitely would go again.
The Vivo on the Billy Bishop Way location is our family's go to spot! We've been going religiously for years and my kids have grown up eating there for their friendly and warm environment. The staff is amazing and make you feel like you're visiting family. My daughter has had her first birthday lunch there and my son always looks forward to his favorite dish, pasta fagioli and a warm ciao from his good buddy "Chef"! I highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to enjoy great authentic Italian food while making great memories with family.
