I frequent yorkdale a lot and I also love all of the similar juice bars. I stopped by yesterday and I asked the associate what some of the ingredients in the juices were as I had never heard of them before and she gave a generic answer such as antioxidant, which is not what something is but what something has. When I asked her what it is, she said "you have to do your own research." Incredibly rude and unprofessional. How can you not know the product you are selling? I dont know if all the locations are owned by the same people, but today I drove to upper Canada mall and purchased from there.
I have walked by many times. I would see the product sold in high-end venues including the Granite Club. Today I decided to stop and have a bowl of soup. I got the mushroom immunity. The soup was good but I cannot believe the price point of $10. It was mainly broth and although it was tasty I’m not sure you can justify the cost. Unless it was lowered to a more reasonable six or seven dollars I will never eat there again.

Not impressed with the orange juice. Worst I’ve tried in my life. At almost $30 for two 1L bottles…disappointed.
The orange juice was definitely not fresh… tasted like minute made.

I enjoyed a week of smoothies/juices, and other VJ goodies. Lo and behold, next Monday rolled around and the rust was suddenly gone. It was like someone went in and scrubbed the mental blockage free. Coincidence? ?♀️I don't believe so!

had the unfortunate experience today at the yorkdale location. I am diabetic and needed something to help me as my sugar was going down. I went up to the cashier lady and asked about the acai smoothie about HOW MUCH sugar was in this smoothie so i can figure out if i could have it. Upon hearing this question i saw her shaking her head like i had asked the wrong question. She then asked her co worker if there was any sugar in the smoothie (which was not my question earlier) and their response was that there was no added sugar and instead of giving me some sort of nutritional guide, she motioned to the menu that what was there was there and was up to interpretation. At this point i was irate and said that i was diabetic and i was not sure if im allowed to be asking those questions since the cashier shook her head when i had asked this. The other staff said it was because of the mask with the miscommunication but the damage was already done. Just wondering why there is no guide that displays sugar contents in drinks and if its standard practice for staff to reply by shaking their head when asked a simple question about the menu.
Something was definitely bad in the smoothie from here. Looks like they made a previous batch and just blended it with ice when I ordered. Tasted rotten/sour - had to throw away.
Their tonics are not that great unfortunately. I got the focus tonic and it just tasted like watered down grass juice. I'm sure it's healthy but it should taste good too. The store itself was very clean and well organized. It's definitely pretty to look at. The staff were nice too. They have a variety of other offerings but based on what I ordered, I'm not itching to go back anytime soon.
