Truly a hidden gem and highly underrated! All dishes here have a unique flavor. Some may be prepared in unorthodox ways but they taste great if you try it with an open mind and none of them would make you feel bloated. Perfect replacement for home cooked food.Would highly recommend Dhokla, Thali, Sev Usal, Gajrela, Shrikhand, Chat Kachori, Dahi Puri Vegetable Cutlet. Looking forward to trying other dishes.
Worse food, I ordered a Dabeli, and got a burger with a tikki only. Samosa was worse that I have ever eaten, they use raw potato in samosas. Worse food, use same thing on all the foods. Not going ever there.
Love the food here. I eat here regularly and it's a pleasant surprise to find decent vegetarian Indian food so close to my office!.Edit 2021 - it's nice to see it's still here regardless of the pandemic. For those reviews that seem unhappy with the presentation of the place I have to say I don't get it - it's a takeout window. I just think the value remains with food that you just don't seem to be able to find in the area. The couple that run it seem very nice as well and has kept me coming back.
This place has potential but there is HUGE room for improvement. Inside is quite dingy and dirty, food is hit and miss and generally lackluster, service is not friendly, website is outdated. With the amount of high quality indian restaurants in the area I hope they put more effort into providing a better experience for customers.
The owner may wanna check and correct operation hours listed here. Google says 8:30 closing. We went there at 7:30 to taste some ragada patties but huge disappointment to know they operate only till 7PM. Duh.

I have visited many indian restaurants in scarborough but this one is totally different and best. The taste of food reminds me that i am eating food in my hometown. I would suggest that if you are looking for wide variety of appetizers must visit there. They should open new store in hub of scarborough.

Food here is really good. Its fresh, simple, made to order and very tasty. It takes me back home.Thankyou Uncle and Aunty for this gem of a place.?
