Ordered takeout total $67.80 for salmon lover tray. Fresh flowers and seaweed was a nice touch. Service was good and fast. Will be back to try other items on the menu!
We love fresh sushi ? and we know when they get it right! Nice quiet place with good fresh fusion sushi and nice service. Umami indeed. Will be back
The food was absolutely delicious! I got the Deluxe Chirashi bowl. The pieces were pretty thick and much larger than other restaurants I've gone to, not to mention how fresh they tasted. We split the takoyaki, which had some pretty big octopi chunks in them!My friend got the bento box and really enjoyed the sirloin steak she ordered. She also mentioned that the rolls were pretty good too!Not pictured but we also got some drinks. The bubble tea tasted really good and is definitely something I'll be grabbing for take out next time I visit :)
Absolutely amazing!! My husband and I have been so curious about this place and finally got to try it this weekend. Went with some family and we were all so impressed!The portion of food is great! The quality is amazing. Especially for the price its at. Even the presentation of the food was awesome. We loved every dish we got.I got the Deluxe Chirashi Don and the Japanese Soybean Custard Cake for dessert.Only criticism I would give is the setting. The place could use a bit of an update or clean up. It’s not terribly messy or anything, but it just feels like the space doesn’t match the food in a way. But honestly we didn’t really notice that once the food arrived, haha!Service was great too! Our tea was always full and everyone was very attentive.Overall, definitely recommend!
Consistently good sushi..my goto is the salmon lovers combo with salad, miso soup and your sushi platter. It's fresh and filling for $18.
Ordered the salmon lover.Always fresh, salmon is buttery; melts in your mouth.$18 for what you see in the picture plus miso soup. 4 orders is $68 +tax .Decent pricing for all salmon. I order from here on Sunday because a lot of my Scarborough sushi joints are closed.Love the salad dressing.Not a fan of the mayo dollops on the 2 middle pieces.So filling. We’ve been here 4 times and always consistent.
Good and decently priced Japanese food in huge servings. Kind and attentive staff. Overall great value. Didn’t mind the ambience - it was true to its description, really unpretentious. We did enjoy our dinner. Will be back again.
The sushi is pretty great 4/5.Cooked food is not so great 2/5.Some sushi is very delicious like the scallop roll, I like that they don't skimp out on the scallop. The short ribs were very bad. The coconut shrimp didn't really taste like shrimp.Although not our favorite place, we would eat here again for the sushi because it tastes fresh and they have good portions. Their Philadelphia roll is actually also very good despite it being made with cooked salmon. I can't eat cream cheese so ordering it without the cream cheese is actually very tasty. However, sometimes the rice is very hot and it makes the roll fall apart and taste not very good. Unless you wait a lot of time after ordering it, to cool it down. This is not practical. The fish was fresh and the ingredients were fresh. Good place if you feel like
Pretty good Japanese restaurant. There used to be a different Japanese eatery here which I really loved but I must say the new one is nice too. They have an expanded menu and the prices are still very reasonable.It is not a fancy palace but the food is tastyand fresh so I can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a Japanese meal without breaking the bank.
Decided to try this place out since it was in my neighbourhood. Sushi was very fresh and delicious. Also ordered the salmon lover roll (which is huge and it was good as well). I thought the price was very reasonable, compared to the sushi places that I usually go around yonge street. I will definitely come again! The server was also very nice and attentive.
