I am so disappointed with my most recent order. Guess how much I paid for this “Soondae” (Korean sausage, 순대). Each piece of soondae was $1. Nor worth the money.
So this place does mostly tea and snacks but I saw the poster for bingsu and was just in the mood for one. The toppings were pretty good but the texture and consistency of the ice was less of the shaved quality like bingsu and more like a snowcone. So instead of scooping with a spoon I had to hack at it once I got to the bottom. In the end I couldn't really finish it. I probably should have ordered something else.
The aesthetics of this place makes it an absolutely vibe! The perfect place and energy to get some studying done or just chill with friends. I stayed there for a couple hours and was unbothered. The music they played was calming and the set up was just overall enjoyable. However, there's much room for improvement when it comes to the food. I got the Yaki Fried Dumplings, the Corndog, Passionfruit Juice Tea, the Original Croffle and the Green Apple Tea.?The dumplings were alright but just alright, they weren't anything special and didn't taste exceptionally good.?The corndog was okay. I didn't know that they would put mustard and ketchup on it by default, the mustard ruin the taste for me a bit because I don't like mustard on corndogs but others who do might find it enjoyable. I'm not sure why the corndog meat was white? I don't know, maybe it was fish? That made me a bit uncomfortable. The passionfruit tea was WAY too sweet. They did not ask me for sweetness level when I ordered so I'm not sure if they have the option but the default sweetness is too much. I didn't finish the drink to be honest. The tapioca also tasted a bit old. I was really excited for the waffle. It tasted good but the problem was the after taste. I'm not sure if theyre using a spraycan butter for the machine or if it's the machine itself but it leaves an odd and unpleasant aftertaste. It was a bit disappointing.?The Green Apple Tea was the best thing I had there. It was really delicious! The sweetness level was perfect and the drink was hot and refreshing! I would recommend this drink.Overall, I honestly really liked this place. The service was great but the food is lacking a bit. I feel like this place has much potential though, I'm sure they will see me again in the future. I hope by then they make some improvements with the food!
Best place for a new tea shop with your friends or family! They are friendly and the foods are excellent. Feels like home inside too. Will come back.
Two Nine Tea has a BRAND NEW Menu!Real fruit drinks and new snacks as well :)(check out their cute photo zone too!)
It is the worst service tonight.I called there to make a pick-up order 6 times. But they never answer my call. So, I decided to visit there to order some food. When I arrived there, they were not busy at all. Unfortunately, I waited for 10 minutes because they were getting order from 4 people. They just ordered only teas. I just left because they were still getting order from them until I left.I usually go there almost every week. But I will never visit again. Too poor and slow service.
Great food at a great price! Very cheap but I enjoyed my food and drink. I recommend this place to everyone who wants bubble tea but are broke. One of the cheapest places for bubble tea in Toronto. Their tteok bokki is also not too spicy, it was more sweet/spicy. Perfect for those who aren't the best with handling extremely spicy food!
Ordered mini Kimbab, Tteok-Ggochi, and Oden for delivery from here. All really good and great quick snack for a break. Definitely heavy to eat all 3 at once. Maybe I’ll try their bubble tea next time :)
I tried mango smoothie. It wold be better??
Ordered delivery. Added 2 boiled eggs for $ 2.50 and just came with one... ? And added cheese topping for $2.5 seems a bit pricey for the amount of cheese. I barely see cheese on/in it. No vegetables included at all.Other than that it was decent tteok bokki for money.
