Ordered egg rolls for appetizers and they came cold on the inside. Waitress took them back to the kitchen and returned with them reheated but dripping in oil. Not pleasant. Also the filling was very unusual...there were carrots and maybe soft noodles inside. Not much flavor. Would not order them again. Had 1/4 BBQ chicken which was ok but nothing special.Have previously had chicken wings and they were good.
?the MEGA CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH from The Chicken Nest in Toronto, my new favourite Kosher spot. I couldn’t believe my eyes how massive it was! i remember i used to love the Popeyes chicken sandwich (way back) but there is no comparison to this Manwhich, Southern Fried on a Freshly Baked Brioche Bun with lettuce, tomato, pickles with secret sauce, you just cant see cuz its so huge. My goodness, lawdY lawd!? Ill never forget this moment, its been so long since we could eat at a restaurant but to my surprise Ontario dropped the Jab requirements to “eat in” last week, I hope it stays that way, because i cannot stand another moment without you my hunny Bun, we shall MEAT again …until then, Rest in pieces my darling…? ********************************************* Now we all know kosher food is more expensive, but this was a good price, only $20 CDN, i would have paid 25-30 for it. I did see another item on the menu i wanted, the Tomahawk 24oz Steak, but it was $72 dollars, ? i told my wife i want it for my birthday, she said sure, when you’re 50! ? Good times today at the Ripley’s Aquarium as well. Night out on the town.
Very nice ambiance. Good food and reasonable prices. We had a group of six people all of which were very satisfied with their experience.
Food was excellent. Service too! Our party of 20 was very pleased. Would definitely recommend.
So happy to visit Toronto and have a great kosher meal! We shared one entree with a salad and soup, it was plenty of food, fresh and flavourful. Recommend a reservation because not too many tables.

We love eating at Chicken Nest. The food is so good. I would recommend the crispy chicken sandwich or the chicken pot pie. But no matter what you order you won't be disappointed. And their staff are so kind as well.
This restaurant is my favored. I eat in a lot of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very friendly and the cooking they place on your table is so flavorful. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.
