The Pad Thai was super saucy and sweet. I could taste a lot of sugar and normally it shouldn’t be a super saucy dish.The Yellow curry flavour didn’t pop the way curry should.Overall I found it to not be authentic Thai food. I realize I am not Thai but I have been to many authentic places and this was not one unfortunately.
Came to this restaurant from reviews and it did not disappoint!! Don't let the overall rating sway you, their food is delicious! Must try the Malay dish, any protein. Flavour hits you! Best curry Pad Thai I've had. Tried the coconut soup, YUM! My partner really enjoyed their hot & sour soup, right consistency. The rice paper in the fresh spring rolls was a bit tough, but everything else was wonderful! The service was great, brought waters out with lemon before taking any orders. We will definitely be coming back and already recommend Thai Room on Dufferin to family.
The food is certainly not Thai food. The green curry had cabbage and was sweet. The basil beef had no basil flavour whatsoever. The Tom Yum soup was red and had none of the hot and sour flavour that it should and no lemon grass, lime leaves, or any other basic ingredients that it should.This was bad Thai food and I'm writing this review so that I remember never to order from here again.2 stars because it was quick.
Every time we visit your cafe, we get great pleasure and enjoyment from delicious food, which is definitely cooking in love! And this year I decided to celebrate my birthday in your cafe! .thank you very much to the chef and special words of gratitude to the lovely girl Manali, who every time surrounds all customers with warmth and attention! Professional approach to their work, knowledge of the assortment delights and there is a desire to return to this cute cafe again and have a lot of fun! this is my go to place for coconut soup and beef in oyster sauce. Very nice interior and service. I'm surprised that this place only has 4.0 rating. You wont find anything better in the area.Would recommend for sure
Terribly rude. Crowded. Zero respect of in house dining clientsRefused to allow us to speak with a manager.Not in covid compliance. Waited 45 minutes after ordering and nothing came to the table. And they told us to cancel if we want. We used to be regulars. Never again. They lost our business. Rude unprofessional staff. Horrific customer service. Will be reporting them to public health as well.

Been ordering for years from this place we love the food. we went for dinner this week to dine in. I'm a vegetarian so I ordered all dishes vegetarian. my husband eats meat. I find a piece of chicken in the dish and my husband tries it and swallowed and says ITS chicken. I tell the server she takes the dish to the back. comes out with the dish and says " not possible we cook meat in a seperate section than vegetarian". and said I can order another dish if I want. the proper thing to do was to replace my dish. very disappointed
Horrible! we ordered the chili beef and crispy red snapper in tamarind sauce for a pickup through Ritual Co. When we got home we noticed there wasn't a whole fish only the head and tail covered in sauce. We immediately called the restaurant to complain and without any apology they told us we needed to contact Ritual if we wanted the money back. We find this ridiculous to pay $18 for a head and a tail. We will never order from this restaurant ever again!!
