Always a great place for years to go and enjoy great chicken which is always cooked to perfection. The ambience and customer service is amazing.
Always happy with Swiss Chalet food .. 1/2 chicken meal is plentiful .. Perogies as an appetizer are the best too! ?
Me and my little sister had the pleasure of being served by Peggy. She was so sweet and accommodating, brought our food out quickly and was attentive to detail. Will definitely be returning! Thank you again for a wonderful meal and great service! :)
My wife and I love Swiss Chalet but nothing but problems when ordering from here and what makes it worse are the excuses we get!!! If anyone ever has "problems" with the app and tracking the drivers location, maybe it's because they're making multiple stops and that's why I think they turn off the tracking. Or else, why would our order be 20mins late when the restaurant is less than 10mins away and before we get critisied for being lazy, my wife's 7 months pregnant and we wanted a date night in. And before I get an auto response, I tried reaching out and nothing was done, just stupid excuses that we're not buying. This location needs to make changes or slash their prices in half.
I've ordered from this location about 6 times over the past 3+ years. My 4 dine-in experiences were typical and as expected Swiss Chalet service. Prompt, fast, attentive, and pleasant.Take-out was not typical. It is slower than normal for this brand. Added 10+ minutes to each visit of my last 2 experiences of 1 month apart.
Quality at this location has gone downhill lately. Not sure if it's management or staffing but very disappointing. After reading other bad reviews looks like it went downhill within the Last year. Swiss chalet, don't blame the pandemic. Check out this CRISPY chicken sandwich. Clearly is was nuked in a microwave. No crisp AT ALL. Looks like they grabbed the chicken from KFC. Don't even get me started on the bun.....who serves a sandwich with a burnt bun like that??
I placed an order for delivery and it was taking too long which is understandable, but when after 45 mins I called to check if the ordered left, the lady that answered the phone was very rude, was pretty much yelling and would speak so fast and frantically that I had to ask her to slow down, she was very rude form the beginning until the end, she made the experience so bad that I ended up canceling the order and just cook some nice chicken and fries at home! Much better customer service ? lol
My wife and I come here on a regular basis and nearly every time it is perfect.Tonight I want to shout out to the servers and greeters at the door. At about 730pm we were coming in to eat and the group in front of us (mother and 2 late teens) were holding up the line due to being completely belligerent and not knowing the provincial mandates around vaccine proof and ID, which is an alien concept to us all since we have only had about 4 months to get used to it . All the while having no regard for the safety of the people working due to refusing to distance or wear masks.They were eventually seated (a tough call for the servers I'm sure) nfter a short while the mother was SCREAMING for a server because her food wasn't perfect. Again, rude as hell and just a general nuisance.The servers were nothing but polite and professional. They should definitely be getting paid more than they do.
The food was nice and fresh. Buns seemed right of the oven. Crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. The side ribs were fall of the bone tender and the wings were crispy yet juicy. The waitress was so nice and very attentive. We had a pleasant time. This is by far the best swiss chalet we have been to and we have been to a lot!Ps: washrooms were very clean too
Chicken was a little tough. Most places you can just use your fork to scrape it off the bone, because it’s so tender. Not here. Pepsi tasted watered down.Service was very friendly
