I went with 3 other adults and 2 kids, with the party of 6, we had lot of fun. Our server was awesome. He helped us with our questions and was very friendly. He had his mask on at all time.Before heading there, we did the reservations and was seated without any wait. There was no line up as well.Food was very delicious and we had lots of left over too. Our server didn't hesitate at all to pack it for us.I Used ladies washroom which was downstairs. It was very clean, not smelly, TP stocked up and garbage bin was easily accessible as well.I am definitely coming back and recommending my friends.
5 stars for Sophia, a 3 for the restaurant.When I came in and said I’m here for takeout, I was greeted in a bit of a cold way, felt a little intimidated. Asked for help with the menu, the front entrance host (a gentleman) probably though I asked for the menu, he gestured me to a bench. I looked over the menu, then came up again, asked for help deciding on my order.He got a waitress for me who was really nice sweet and helpful. So eventually I was greeted and helped well.It seems like a nice atmosphere restaurant, soothing space lighting etc, from what i saw, as I got takeout. Looks like a party place more so, with drinks etc. Maybe that’s why I didn’t initially receive the appropriate warmth , because I came in alone for a modest takeout. In which case imho I think I should’ve been a welcomed guest, maybe I would’ve dined in. Literally, I went to dine in a different food court. The food is good, fresh, but it is pricey. If I came with company, I’m sure we could try many more menu items at a good price, but I came alone and didn’t want to spend a lot of money. I got myself a good quality tasty dinner for $28. I chose simple sushi rolls because of a budget in mind and because I didn’t want fried stuff.My sushi (Eskimo and California maki, also miso soup) was very fresh, particularly Eskimo had a great amount of nice salmon, and avocado- super fresh. But was the dish flavours and presentation shockingly exceptional - no, however it was good quality.I just wish I had more of an opportunity to try something more interesting, richer flavour combinations, but felt constricted by prices.however the server Sophia - TRULY went above and beyond to ensure walking me through the menu, ensuring I am happy with my choice, was very warm and welcoming. She assured me she will bring me my order as soon as it’s ready (take out) and she did bring it super soon, wrapped up very neatly, put in soy enough sauce and spicy mayo (I forgot to ask for it) “just in case I’d want an extra spice” truly amazing, such a warm person. Their menu is huge - so many items, she made me feel completely comfortable, while choosing the menu, waiting and after leaving - she truly created a warm positive and comfortable feeling. Wish this kind of service and quality was across the board
Worst service that I’ve ever got, the server was in rush and at the end we asked her to split the bill in three and she did it in half and when we asked her we are 3 she was shouting that you’ve asked for half. Then, we left the place and she came after us to say she made a mistake in the bill and we need to pay more. The food was ok but if you are looking to get a service I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.
I am big on sushi and sushi Moto is a nice place to dine in or get takeout.The staff are amazing, helpful and patient. It was my friend first time trying sushi and the waitress patiently explained each of her questions and gave us a complimentary extra salad which was really sweet.The quality of food was good, tasty and fresh!Definitely a place to go next time if you want to try some sushi with beautiful designs!We got sushi pizza and few spicy salmon, tuna, dynamite and chicken noodle!All were tasty and good!
Great 5 stars Japanese restaurant. We ordered Kalbi and Sashimi Bento box for lunch. Great taste and portion. Staffs are polite and attentive. Highly Recommend ?
If you’re looking for a great delicious a la carte sushi, don’t miss Sushi Moto.It was not busy the time we were there, but we enjoyed every minute there.Waitress was very friendly,Avocado salad was as nice as always I tried it,This time I tried their Avocado tempura, so creamy, crunchy and delicious ??And the combination of Sashimi, Sushi and Macki was very fresh,The best part was its desert, Ice cream banana tempura, I ordered it two times ?
Dropped in for a dinner date and ordered the black dragon and green dragon sushi. Honestly nothing special about what we ordered and can't say it represents good value compared to alternatives in the area. Service was good and ambiance is nice.
Went on a week night. Not too busy which was nice since I'm still unsure about eating out due to Covid. They've added flexiglass above the booths and people respect safety protocols so you feel safe. The staff are always super friendly and the food is great. I like the fact that there's many booths, also the casual environment where you can watch sports even if there's no sound (not too many to be distracting). It's not Japanese buffet but portions are a good size and I couldn't eat much more anyways. It wasn't my first visit and I'll definitely be back again. Terrikayi chicken bento box was $29 for dinner but I think it's $10 less during lunch (maybe you get a bit less at lunch)
Sashimi was good but this is not quality sushi. The spicy tuna roll had more filler (panko crumbs than actual tuna). I don't get why they have to grind tuna with crispy crunch to make a spicy tuna roll? average Toronto sushi, good for someone who has never had it before. Quality is no better than any other avg place. Went here after seeing reviews but never again.
This is my 3rd time coming here. Service continues to be great. Food is very tasty. I really like the friendly environment the restaurant offers and staff is polite and helpful when assistance is needed. As there are restaurants where the service is bad, it takes away from the whole experience resulting in the food tasting bad. Overall, I am happy with every thing. I definitely recommend this sushi spot.
