I placed an order st 10am...through uber eats by 1015 I got a notification that it was ready for pick up. I GOT THERE AT 11AM ANF THE FOOD WASNT EVEN TAKING OUT YET. THE 2 WOMEN WORKERS IN THERE WERE ACTING LIKE THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. AT THID POINT THESE JAMAICAN RESTAURANT OWNERS AND STAFF NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. THEY NEED TO HIRE PPL WHO ACTUALLY CARE TO WORK IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. NOT PPL WHO JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY.
This has to be the most nastiest red peas soup I've ever come across. It smell sour, like vomit sour. When I got in my car I was wondering what the smell was but gave the entire bag the benefit of the doubt. Mind you I went and bought this soup cause my daughter was sick so it was for her. When I got home and went to open it and gave it a tiny taste, that soup was NOT at ALL GOOD. And smell and taste was so bad that lady should've known at the store. Especially if you are an elder serving the food. That entire bowl went the garbage.Apparently, if you ask for a fried chicken meal you don't get sides as a walk in customer but if you order on uber eats, you are offered steam veggies or coleslaw...as you can see I wasn't offered anything but rice and chicken. I will never support this local restaurant again. Plus you don't even get a hello...not worth it.
Today or this morning to be more specific, I got fry bakes and they were really really hard. It seems as though it was re-fried. The quality of the two fry bakes were so hard and dry, i couldn"t even finish them. I ended up having to throw them away, which was upsetting. I really wished I had taken pictures of the after and before. But I was so disappointed, I couldn't even fathom at the idea that the bakes were actually re-fried in oil and then served.I thought to myself, maybe this was just one of those days that quality wasn't the best. I've had better from this exact location, not sure what happened this morning with the fry bakes.But I must say the corn meal porridge was really delicious.This experience will not affect my next visit. I do hope the next time I visit it will be a must better experience.
I should have learned my lesson as my last 3 UberEats orders were incorrect. Wrong beverage, simple enough. Via the Merchant end of the uber platform you can list an item as not being available, a few swipes would solve that problem. Uber also gives merchant the secondary option (if they just realize when an order has come through, that they have run out of something) to notify the customer that the item is unavailable and provide them with secondary choices, or to completely just remove it from the order so there is no issue. But no they send you whatever they want, who cares if you are paying for it. Lazy if you ask me but its not my business to run and given that this is not the first time I should have known better than to give them the opportunity. Now the kicker is on top of giving me the wrong drink, I have now found plastic in my soup. Yummy!!! Now I tried do my due diligence by calling them and saving another potential customer from a choking hazard but guess what... they do not have a working phone number. So here I am essentially writing an essay. What do you know, had I come here and checked the reviews sooner I would never have ordered from them in the beginning. They don't even care to respond to the reviews. Yikes!!! Kind advice spend your money elsewhere!! There are other Sunrise locations providing far better service and better quality food.Bye Folks :)

Ordered Uber eats the food speaks for it self…Ordered the King Fish and Jerk Chicken.The fish dinner was a joke, fish was so thin like a slice of tomato,better to charge more and give proper portions.Remember your name and establishment represents what you put out there.This restaurant should be called sundown…it doesn’t matter how hungry I am, this was my first and last order.
Red pea soup was sour and no meat also got chicken soup no meat and not so tasty. Red snapper was cold and stale oxtail was alright just put off by the sweetness. Small portions not satisfied
Don't eat from this dirty place, got food poisoning as i figured because its not busy & dont toss food out & resale it days later. My fault from not noticing the minute i walked in🤷♂️
BBQ chicken was addictively delicious! Rice and peas is also nice with some oxtail or stew chicken gravy. Will definitely come back for more!
