Food and service were great ?. Even though the place was busy we got our food on a reasonable time and the waiters kept checking up on us and were friendly. Definitely recommend it.
I ordered the breakfast poutine here, it arrived at my table with a hair on it for one. Second, I ordered the eggs sunny side up and they were served to me with the whites still partially clear/uncooked. It is incredibly overpriced for what it is. Would not recommend
I got a club sandwich that came with french fries. Despite ordering a sandwich that is supposed to be a large triple decker style sandwich, it was small. It had a small chicken breast (which had a good flavour), one strip of bacon folded over, one tomato slice, and one lettuce leaf. The sandwich was mainly bread which was magnified by it not having mayonnaise or any sauce at all. The handful of fries it came with was not enough so I ordered an additional side to supplement. I also wanted to try the hollandaise sauce prior to ordering (as I thought I may order the eggs benedict at first) but they don't let you try without ordering a side for $3.50. I decided to order it so I could have a taste. It didn't have any seasoning. When I tried the french fries, they also did not have seasoning. They provide table salt so you can salt them yourself. The final bill came to $30 with a 15% tip because the service was standard.I will not return. That's a lot of money for the quality and quantity of food.
My husband and I had eaten at the Sunnyside Grill on St. Clair innumerable times when we lived nearby. Now that we're closer to this location, on Steeles near Keele, we decided to give them a try. The server was very nice if slow and/or inattentive (10 minute wait for a coffee refill!), but the serving size was appalling. For a healthy breakfast, I ordered avocado smash (or whatever they call it) and got two pieces of buttered toast, two of the smallest eggs ever laid by a chicken, and 2 tablespoons of smashed avocado. I cannot imagine how that should cost $10.49! Compare to my husband's Biggie Breakfast that, at $15.99, included three eggs, two pieces of ham, two strips of bacon, two sausage, potatoes and French toast! Seems like their prices are out of whack.Added note: Coffee is $2.99, but in our nearly one hour there, I only managed to get the servers attention for two refills... and my husband's $2.49 pop was one can of pop. Surely, that's a 1,000% mark-up?
I went there today for breakfast and I ordered the Florentine Benedict well done (I expressed I didn’t want runny yolks). When it arrived the eggs were quite runny when I cut into them. I brought it to the server’s attention and told her I couldn’t eat it because the eggs were not well done. She apologized and took the plate away but nothing was offered. She didn’t offer to re-do the eggs etc. and when the bill came it was full price! Anyways, I left zero tip which also caused them to give me angry looks. I’m sorry, you screwed up my order and then when brought to your attention you did nothing to fix it and then still charged me full price. That equals no tip in my book. This place used to be one of my early morning “go to” spots but recently it has gone downhill with today being the final straw. I’ll never go here again, especially when there are other (better) restaurants nearby.
Food and service excellent, waitress so polite. When I went for brunch today I saw they set persian new year table, I was so exited
My sister and I decided to have breakfast on family day at Sunnyside Grill. Our waiter, Arby, gave us excellent service. The food is delicious. ? Our order was served perfectly. The cost of our meal was responsible. The place is clean and well organized. It was our first time eating at Sunnyside Grill and not our last. Looking forward to trying their lunch meal. ?

Amazing food and friendly service. My girls loved it!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. A great breakfast place for family and friends.
Stopped in for a waffle and some bacon. Both where bad. The waffle tastes like the iron had herbal soap in it, and the bacon was rubber. My orange juice also tasted like a glass of suger with an orange squeezed into it. Total was 23 bucks before the tip, not worth half of that. The waitress was nice and polite.
