Absolutely brutal...service was not great to start and the food portions were tiny given the price. Unfortunately for us, we arrived at 5pm, during a shift change. We decided to sit inside because there were several people smoking on the patio and even though the inside was almost empty, the hostess sat us at a table right beside the bathroom when there were 10 other open tables we could have been sat at. We took it upon ourselves to move over a few seats away from the bathroom doors. We were there for about 5 minutes and no server had yet come greet us. The manager passed by and apologized indicating they were in the middle of a shift change but she could get us some drinks in the meantime. We told her we were ready to order and she said she'd be back in a minute but she managed to pass us on three separate occasions going from the restaurant to the patio without coming back to us once. A waitress finally came over and helped us. From this point on the service was very good and we finally felt like our business was appreciated.However, we were once again left disappointed when the food arrived. I ordered the Beef Dip (which in my 50 years of living, has always been served on a hoagie roll). St Louis serves it on a small hamburger bun with very little beef and includes some thick cut fries. For $16.50, it is absolutely highway robbery to be serving portions this size. My gf ordered the Quinoa bowl and was relatively happy with it. Our bill for the two main dishes (no starters & no drinks) came out to $45 with tax and tip. I felt totally ripped off!!! As an observation, the manager really needs to be reviewing what their staff are wearing. It's completely unacceptable to have a very young girl wearing a miniscule skirt that the bottom of her butt is hanging out of...I can only imagine the show she was giving when bending over the tables on the patio. Given the poor service to start and the tiny food portions, we likely won't be coming back to St Louis Bar & Grill anytime soon.
Beautiful location with an awesome view.Service was quite fantastic ?Fish and chips has just one piece of fish so that was very very disappointing.But I had the best chicken wings of my life! Best even?I would go back just to eat those wings. Massive ?And we had Long island icetea, which was fantastic as well!
The best neighbourhood bar. I am coming here from last 6 years and everyone there is so kind and sweet to me. Kudos to the people working there and making our evenings exceptional.Many thanks to Maya, Meghan , Haiget.????
The female waitress told us that we can sit in the corner . After 10 min she was just cleaning tables and no new customers were even in the store. She had already taken the orders of the people who have come after us.we waited 20 min and the bar tender asked us if we were take out or dine in . She said she will be with us shortly and after 30 min no one showed up and we left. I worked at a restaurant and I know how much of a hard work it is . But you have 3 people standing near the bar and 1 lady who is taking other people's orders and not us ? I was going to tip big but because of her action I'm never coming back . Cleaning tables is more important than taking people's orders ? The lady came into eye contact with us several times and chose not to take our order. Some Kay say why did you not ask her to come over or just ask the bar to take your order , I say that I did not go to a fast food restaurant and I went to a restaurant . If I wanted to go in front and take my own order, I would have gone to a cheaper place .
The service is nice, but definitely on the slow side. We were lured in by the AYCE boneless wings for only the low price of $20. We thought we found a great deal, but were pulled back down to reality upon taking the first bite. The chicken was breaded very heavily, and unfortunately the breading was not good at all - very tough and hard to chew. This was probably the most hungry I have ever been walking out of an "all you can eat" because we only ordered one round.
Worst experience. Staff made us wait near the door without any clear explanation even when at least 5 tables were free. We waited for 15 mins and walked out and we saw people coming in after us getting seated. That was so rude and unacceptable.
Be careful of going here at 5pm, unless you enjoy being ignored for the entire duration, until you decide to leave and the waiter says bye to your 3 year old kid who wanted to do some art coloring. The floor servers consistently avoided eye contact but I think that's not new considering the experience others have had and posted about in the past.
Love the food, not happy with the newer portions but the foods still good and the price i don't like but I don't disagree with it completely for some items (though for a few I think its way over priced). But over all you are getting what you ask for in quality of product in general and in customer service.
The servers all watched us waiting & avoided eye contact especially the actual floor server. Finally I asked if I can atleast order so my food can be made while we wait. 20 mins later the wings are done and I mean dry & BURNT! When I bring it to the managers attention she’s denies I told her the half wing order should be in sauce and was very combative. I stand inside to wait for the wings and they come back looking THE SAME! I was so hungry & tired I just took the food. This is when she says “Excuse you’re not welcomed back here”. This is where I LOST IT, told her off and stormed out! IN THIS KIND OF ECONOMY YOURE REFUSING BUSINESS WHEN YOU ARE IN THE WRONG?! This is the second time and I’m NEVER COMING BACK! Based on the review it’s clear this restaurant is in despair!
Food is consistently good but this location always has terrible service and long waits. The servers are consistently rude and unprofessional. Every time I've dined here, servers are always socializing, could not care less and are inattentive and slow.
