Love the vibe of the restaurant ! I had the Roti and it was pretty delicious however the chicken could have been more well done and gravy thicker. Overall the flavour was satisfying and I also got homemade Sorrel drink. I would try again but be vocal that I need the chicken well well done - no pink please
Finally got to stop in here to try their doubles!So fresh and delicious! And Their in house hot sauce is AMAZING.. the flavours in the Chana were so yummy. Everything was so fresh!Def coming back :)
I have not been to this plaza since precovid so the only place I really knew was the A and w- no more!! Smoke n Roti is my new fave! I was too late to get a home made beef patty but that is for my next visit. Jerk chunks are blunt cut pieces of jerk chicken. If I could just have had that jerk sauce and the rice and peas I would have been happy. Coleslaw is never my thing but because it was closing time the owner threw in a leftover fried plaintain fritter. I don’t even like those usually but I tried it and really liked it. Maybe I just didn’t like the fried plantains I had before Snoke n Roti but either way, try this place out. Great value and great food - the owner / lady running the place seems lovely as well. Amazing food and hospitality!My family has come here many times in the last couple of years and we have always been greeted with a friendly face, great service and delicious cuisine. Anthony and his staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The bbq and jerk chicken meals, oxtail, and goat roti are among my favourite dishes, but now they have homemade beef patties that are a MUST TRY!!!We will be coming back again and again!SABRINA C.
Amazing experience.Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Right when I walked through the door I was greeted. I even noticed one of the staff members came out and checked on another customer sitting and dining in to be sure all her needs were met. Having seen that it showed me how much the members of this establishment stand behind their food and services. Although it looks like a take out only place. They had seats for you to dine in, if you pleased.The food was amazing. They have homemade patties that they make in house. The patties are not like regular beef patties; it definitely had a twist. But the jerk chicken was amazing! One of the best I've had. The smokey taste of bbq was amazing.Would highly recommend this place. Definitely one of my top choices for jerk food.
I ordered take out through Skip the Dishes. I ordered a pork roti, coleslaw and two drinks. Everything was packed nicely-hot food and cold food in separate bags. The food was fresh and delicious and they wrote a nice thank you message on the take out bag :)
The food was delicious. The service was great. I had the curry chicken roti, ordered a side of curry potatoes and a side of curry chicken. The portions are good and well seasoned. I also tried the beef patty and it was amazing. Definitely a spot to try if you are in the downsview/ North York area.
I have stopped by this place a couple of times and after coming upon the reviews I had to support this family business.My husband and I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and there isn’t one thing we could complain about. The rice and peas is very tasty, the stew chicken is very well cooked and full of flavour and their Jerk/BBQ chicken is awesome!The staff is very friendly and down to earth. I wanted to mention that because it’s a Caribbean restaurant it doesn’t mean that the people behind the register or putting together your food have to be! But the people that cook have their importance! So this restaurant is 100% Caribbean as the owner together with his mother are the ones prepping all the food from scratches!Very well done! :)

We recommend the jerk chicken with roti, the goat curry, the beef patty, and a big glass of sorrel.
Came here a few days ago and ordered the Jerk Chicken dinner with the Stew Chicken and rice and peas and I would definitely recommend coming back to this place!!! Food was so good.And to whoever made that nasty rude comment saying that these people aren’t real Caribbean people, need to get their facts straight Before they go on their phones to leave a bad review!!! ? Caribbean people come in all Sorts of skin tones. I am from Trinidad and these are real Trinidadian people!!! And their food is cooked From Love and served with Love❤️ I Could taste the love in every bite of my food!!!
