I’ve tried Shuyi a few years ago and fell in love with their Mango Pomelo Meets Grass Jelly. I was really bummed out that they didn’t have any points system back then. Recently I discovered that they started a points program which I’m super happy about. And they have a new app which is pretty easy and user friendly for ordering their drinks. Their drinks itself are great, the taste is good and they have different and interesting toppings. I also love that they do special deals here and there.
I ordered Grape Fig Jello Green Tea (葡萄珍珠冻冻) and one of Shuyi's popular drinks. This drink lived up to it's "popularity" with all of its harmonious toppings. This is essentially a snack in a drink! Delicious! I would recommend less ice and minimum sugar because the toppings itself is already sweet. You get a sip of the grape mixed with green tea flavour, along with chewy tapiocas, crunchy coconut jelly, glassy smooth fig jelly (so flavourful), with the final TANG! From grapefruit. Talk about texture galore on your tastebuds for all you foodies! 11/10 would recommend and I bought the same drink for my coworkers. They all equally loved it!
I really enjoy all their drinks so far. Their yogurt drinks and grass jelly drinks are awesome! You can’t find the same thing elsewhere. The texture was good and not too sweet. It was exactly what I wanted. This was my first time trying their Mango Pomelo Yogurt Drink and It tasted really refreshing. Their Royal No.1 Milk Tea was very silky and the grass jelly was delicious too. The drinks were ready real quick. Will visit more often!
Horribly rude and unprofessional. They claim you can redeem points after surrendering your phone number and personal info but when it comes to redeeming, there’s suddenly restrictions on how you can use your accumulated vouchers.Drinks are decent but terribly overpriced. Would not recommend.There’s many other bubble tea places that is priced fairly and taste much better...not sure if it’s the location but you’ve been warned.
I really wanna give them a zero star if i had this option. The staff was rude. I literally heard my friend said "no ice plz" and she got her drink with ice. When she went to the staff, the staff blamed my friend for not telling in advance… The most irritating thing is that the staff's attitude is really bad, and she is the one who did the wrong thing.
I have been here so many times. The sever who make bubble tea was always having the WORST attitude ever ? made me laugh because I was just simply getting my afternoon tea & we are having simple conversation but I still felt unwanted as a customer. Girl if your owner is not treating u right get a job else where! Cuz u really had me concerned about your mental well-being.
Ordered a drink that was very easy to order on Uber eats, loved it, came to the physical location and ordered (outside in my car) waited for 20 minutes for my drink only to find out it's not the same drink, they have 100 different options that are hard to distinguish. Asked the person in the front if they could possible remake the drink as I really liked the one I ordered. She said "no" no follow up or customer service. It's a shame! Drinks are pretty good but absolutely no customer service. Really sad because I specifically drive here after work instead of ordering Uber to make the business money.
The service is so bad, one of the drinks is not ready for sale even after its open time, it needs extra 30 mins to be ready. The cashier is always in bad mood, feels like I own her millions of dollars.
Went here many times and I always encounter the SAME cashier and she's super rude!!!The latest time I came in was Sunday December 5th at 3pm and she was putting a sign in front of the register saying please wait for 15 minutes. I managed to sit down on the bench and waited for her and she didn't even pay attention to me so I was like ok i'll wait. 5 minutes later someone came in and went straight to the cash (the sign was still there) and she immediately served that customer (probably bc they spoke the same language?) without even telling them I was there first -- she just literally does not even care who was in the store..When it was my turn, I wanted to use the coupons and she yelled at me in chinese even tho I spoke to her in english to show my uber eats order number. She didn't even bother asking me if I wanted toppings or adjust sugar/ice level in my drinks and she just immediately completed the order. I asked her if I could add toppings and she literally started starring at me with her eyes wide open like why did I not ask for it earlier??I even sent an email to their head office and nobody replied to me. Such terrible customer service from top to bottom. Even tho the drinks are good but I don't think you can stay for long with this terrible service you are providing.
Terrible customer service. Employee was rude, impatient and not the least bit friendly.Decided to give it 2 stars for the location and drinks!Cute little store located at Yonge and Sheppard.As a plus, theh also have a claw machine!Drinks are decent but she was so rude I left upset.
