One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a restaurant. We ordered food for dinner in and was told by the server that he wood serve us in the patio. We waited 40 mins and then I went in to check on the food and turns out our food was packed to go and the server forgot about us and forgot about serving our food. Horrible service. Never going back again. Food was sub par at best. There are better options within 400m of this place serving better Persian food. Very disrespectful. Does not care about the customers.
The food was very good, however customer service was not. The person who took my order was not friendly and she spent a lot of time goofing around behind the counter. I did not feel welcome. She told me the order would take 30 minutes, which I felt was exceptionally long for a simple order. Darband Restaurant, which is closer to me, has just as good if not better Persian food, and I will go there instead next time.
I do not want to write bad review based on one time but this is the 3 times within 2 months that i have gotten from Shatter Abbas restaurant and the quality of food drastically reduced compared before . The rice was really garbage without exaggeration. The kabob and chicken so stiff as well as unsavoury smells and bad looks . The most important thing i placed order yesterday May20.2022 for our crew and colleagues I really felt embarrassing why i recommended guys for this restaurant. I do not at all recommend .
One of the worst food! after standing there for 35 minutes, the quality of the Kebab Kobideh was even below 1 star! Joje breast was half cooked! Rice wasn't fully cooked and had a weird smell. Very disappointed with our orders. We had to throw it out! Lowest quality ever! Not going there again!
Extremely overpriced. They charged me 15$ for a beef gravy dish with MAYBE 5 cubes of actual meat and the rest of it was just a tomato based gravy with lentils. What exactly are we paying 15$ for? It didn’t even come with rice. Not impressed at all with this Iranian restaurant. The one lady cooking the meat with the heavy eye makeup should have said it all - giving everyone a RBF.Don’t bother going here. Better service and better food offered at other Iranian or Afghan restaurants.
Food in this restaurant absolutely not good. I bought a rice with lamb shank this afternoon, rice was ok but lamb shank was dry and disgusting smelly old meat that soaked in oil , you can’t even imagine the rotten smell.DON’T WAIST YOUR MONEY IN THIS RESTAURANT.
Very expensive for 1, the food was very bland for my liking and found that it took long to prepare. In addition they charge for condiments and that is a pet peeve of mine. If you are paying $16 for a meal ie a wrap, fries and a drink I would expect that ketchup and hot sauce is included.
I ordered over the phone and went to pick up in person. The shops was quite small with 6 staff members, only one of them was wearing a mask. I opened the door and called in, asking them to put on their masks, which they did. After I entered, one of the staff removed his mask, and when I asked him to put it back on, they began to speak amongst themselves in a foreign language which I could not understand. It is extremely rude and quite obvious they were talking about me but they didn’t want to say it in English. The decent thing to do was to pay for the order as it had already been placed for pickup. However, under any other circumstance, I would have just left. They made me feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. Will not be returning.

Not a great place to dine in but who are you kidding just take it home and ENJOY. I had the kebab barg and my friend had the baghali poli. Both were AMAZING
