My first time here and won’t be my last. Had the curry goat dinner. The gravy was delicious but the goat was a little chewy. I won’t hold it against them though cuz goat can get like that no matter what you do. The rice and peas though.. love them. would eat them all day every day.!! The coleslaw was on point too. Overall the flavour of the food was fantastic which is THE most important thing to me. I will definitely be back to support this neighborhood eatery.
It pains me to leave this review, but it needs to be addressed. When they first did the remodeling I went to get their wings and festival's and they were so good. Unfortunately over time the quality of food has gone done.My biggest problem is when ordering on their website it gives the option of fries or/and festival, but it allows you to choose both. Only thing is when you receive your order you only get 1 and they pick which one to give you (very annoying) This is not the first time this has happened and this is why I'm leaving a review now. The first time it allowed me to do this the gentleman at the store asked me how I was able to do that? I told him it gave me the option to choose both and so he said he will fix it, but everytime I went back it still allowed me to choose both so I assumed they had decided to leave it as that because this was months ago he said they would fix it. So imagine my surprise when I ordered it again and only got the festival which was not as good like they use to be on top of it they shorted me 1 wing. I called to let them know but the lady that answered said it's only 1 you get, which would be fine if it stated that. I feel at that point they should have contacted me to ask which one I wanted instead of just picking for me, or give the option to add the 2 at an additional charge. I ended up ordering different food right after. I probably won't order again.

I found about this place because a childhood friend of mines lives in the projects nearby. He took me here and I was hooked. That was a decade ago. The friend is gone but I still make the 30 minute drive here once a week from Markham, just to get some good Jamaican food. Never disappointed.
