Nice location!Lovely staff and very tasty food.I enjoyed their fish and chips and my dinner date enjoyed a wonderful burger. They were very nice about replacing fries with a salad.Asked if they can accommodate if we had someone with a peanut allergy and they said they could no problem!

Absolutely terrible experience here. Got seated only to wait 25 minutes until we had to get up walk around and find someone in the restaurant to wait on us. The person I found was clearly stressed to begin with and didn’t even ask how we were doing. We then got our drinks and one of them (that wasn’t in a can) was completely flat. We got our food finally and one of the orders had about at most 10 fries alongside the burger. We then ate and had no one show up once during our whole meal. We then AGAIN had to get up again to find someone who could process the payment. We mentioned some of our concerns only to say that’s just how our drinks and food are. What was supposed to be a nice dinner to celebrate a birthday after a fun day downtown watching the Jays game turned into a terrible experience. Manager took down our phone number and email to see what he could do for us so now we will wait but not hopeful with the outcome. Leaving this comment for management/manager to make a serious change on how their staff and employees 1) treat people 2) Address concerns and 3)basic customer service etiquette. Thank you.

I have taken out from this original location Pickle Barrel since the February long weekend and can attest to the excellent quality and value offered in the deli meats (corned beef, roast beef and pastrami), side salads (cole slaw, potato salad), rue bread, whole barbecue chicken with side sauce, and full-rack pork back rib dinners. The management at this location is superb and assures full customer satisfaction at every visit. I would travel the extra distance to patronize this location as my sense is that consistent good quality characterizes every menu choice. The inside of the restaurant and outdoor patio is pleasant and the strip mall offers good parking and other restaurants and food stores to allow one to amortize a longer drive even further. Really enjoy the food here.

I was so HAPPY when the music was turned off. We were struggling to hear. There isn't any reason to play music at this particular establishment as the clientelle is mostly seniors. Thank you to the manager for hearing us customers and turning it off.My whole mood changed immediately and I ended up having a WONDERFUL time, enjoyed the huge breakfast plate (so good!) and conversation.I eat here all the time with my elderly parents. It's a perfect place for us - when the music is turned off. Enjoy!

During the covid 19 lockdown when only patio's were open I consistently went to Pickle Barrel on the weekend, and when the inside opened about 3 months ago again I was there either Saturday or Sunday and the service provided by both waitresses was top notch and the food was consistently good and fairly priced. Because of this I always tip a minimum of 20 %.

Had a very tasty corned beef on rye. The kids menu has lots of options, but to be honest their favourite part was the root beer floats. What stood out the most, however, was the attentive and friendly service. Junabe was very welcoming, and went above the call of duty when she found my daughter’s missing mittens after we had left the restaurant. Not 5 stars, but 6… we will definitely be back!

Had a 10oz steak with a salad, only have a few drinks most made with Smirnoff vodka and don't taste good. Service was slow. I was their 1.5h and only served 3 drinks. Steak was 30$ and a bad cut of meat I recieved looked like it been ran over by a truck when you cut into it. Was seasoned like... A lot, not a good first experience.

called to order for takeout last friday around 9:00. I asked for a pastrami family pack and he told me the pickle barrel doesnt sell it on the menu anymore. Which I find completely unbelievable. To substitute for that I asked for a whole chicken and the man said that he cant take any orders for takeout because the restaurant closes at 9:00. He also refused to add alcohol into my order because the restaurant apparently has no alcohol in stock. He was completely disrespectful and rude even swore at me a couple times. I decided to end the call when he started screaming at me. I didnt get his name but he did have a mexican accent. DISGUSTING

Had corned beef on rye, portion was good size. However, meat was cold, bread not buttered and bread was dried out. Fried were good but warm. Cole slaw was excellent. Staff was friendly. Hamburger looked outstanding and homemade fresh, 2 patties. I will go back and try again.

The food was good, but the service was better. (53) Iman looked after us well. For me, the best sign was that she came back several times to offer us a refill on our coffee, even after she brought the bill. Really made us feel looked after. Great job!!!
