Best Thai food I ever had and already one of my favourite places in Toronto. Got the massaman curry and it tasted amazing, creamy texture, tofu was done well, and it looked beautiful too. Portions are generous, particularly given the price, which means more of the brilliant food. We got the mango sticky rice to go as a desert, and again, absolutely brilliant.Get one of their coconut smoothies while you're there.Owner and staff are awesome. They were helpful selecting the right dish (me being vegan and all), answering any questions about the food (where to buy good coconut cream) and just chat a bit. He offered to change dishes to make them vegan, although I recommend you just get one of the curries if you're vegan, cause you'll just lose out on flavour if they have to take out fish sauce or shrimp paste. While clearly a take-out restaurant, they were happy to have us eat in.If you like Thai food, you should be getting your food here. If you think you don't like Thai food, this place will change, and blow, your mind!

Joe! Thank you for a delicious meal with familiar flavors and your special touches to elevate the sublime. Didn’t realize how much I missed the Auntie's cooking! Can't wait to have more khao soi!

You never know they serve Thai food in this area this hole in the wall but hidden gem ... Three young men doing the cooking. 3 years in the business and they survive one of the biggest obstacles. SUPPORT LOCAL! Alright alright alright ... enough chit chat the Pad Kee Mao = Ugly Delicious tad bit sweet for me could use more heat. Chicken skewers were juicy and tasty with great dipping sauces but could by cook with charcoal grill to replicate Thai Street food. Wait for round 2 with more reviews : )

I ordered takeout from Phat Kaphrao to share with family and friends, and it was a fantastic experience, from ordering to how delicious the food was! I was recommended dishes that were easy to share. I appreciated the honesty and feedback from the owner when our order seemed to be getting out of hand, and we were over ordering (we wanted to try as many items as we can, haha). The portions were great. All the take-out boxes were labeled so it was not a guessing game when we brought home the food. The feedback from everyone that evening was how delicious the food was, and how we cannot wait to order again and try other dishes! Thanks to the team at Phat Kaphrao for a great first experience, and we cannot wait to be back!

The takeout boxes have gotten HUGE since the last time I was here! Got the Holy Basil, Pad Thai, Red Rubies and Thai iced tea. Always amazing.

2022 April 4.5★Located on a busy street, there isn't much foot traffic in the evening, so you might miss this restaurant. This is a small restaurant serving Thai foods that will impress you for the most part.Your here because they serve a variety of unique Thai appetizers and dishes that you might not find elsewhere in the city. The store frontage is small. There are two bar stools for dine in available, but currently it's take out only.Taro Fries 6.95$Crispy outside and fried perfectly with tenderness inside, this comes in several pieces with a side of a yogurt style dipping sauce. Quite good.Cashew Chicken Wings 11.95$Deep fried and glazed with a spicy sweet sambal style sauce, though there's supposed to be cashews in it. (There were a few pieces in the box). Good.Chicken Stay 9.95$Four skewers of marinated grilled chicken with a side of peanut sauce. I've had significantly better elsewhere, so while this wasn't bad, I'd pass in the future.Pad See Ew with Chicken option 14.95$Stir fried thick rice noodles with Chicken and broccoli with a Thai twist. There's some other seasonings and it's peppery. There's fresh peppers in the dish. Very good. Would recommend it as well if you haven't already tried.Thai iced tea 4.25$Not bad. Pretty standard of the Thai iced tea if you have had it before.Limited Paid Street parking is available in front. Worth checking out.

The staff were so friendly and considerate. We ordered a Thai iced tea, massaman curry, and Thai fried rice. The curry was super creamy and the potatoes were perfectly soft. The fried rice was spicy with lots of tofu pieces. There is just enough seating for maybe four patrons - it’s mostly a takeout spot - but I’m glad we got to dine in. It was a good vibe.

Don't be fooled by the hole-in-the-wall vibe, this Thai food is the best you'll find in Toronto!Pad thai, basil chicken, and cashew chicken wings were all EXCELLENT. Flavors blended perfectly, nothing too sweet or sour, and everything was prepared fresh and quick. They have a small dining area with 4 stools but it's more of a takeout place. If you're in the mood for Thai, try Phat Kaphrao!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Brings me back to Thailand. Owner is dedicated to spectacular service as much as he is with his amazing food. I ordered a chicken curry .. which probably is my favourite curry as of yet. I also ordered their pad thai and their aromatic fried rice. Every was so flavourful and although I was so full from their huge servings, I couldn't stop eating. Their crispy tofu, mango salad and chicken wings are the best pairing with any meal. Not to mention their coconut milkshake and thai iced tea .. it was like I stepped into a local eatery in Thailand. Thanks for such a memorable experience. I will be back soon with my whole family.

Very disappointing. Pad Thai was a clumped up ball of dry noodles with no sauce or flavour. Fried rice was as dry as dust and tasted like a 99cent microwave dinner.
